We recently spent a wonderful holiday in Greece, staying at a charming family-run hotel that felt like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in warmth and hospitality. Maria and Dmitrij, our incredible hosts, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Evenings were a delight as we explored national drinks together, sharing laughter and stories. The hotel’s chef, their mom, prepared the most amazing breakfasts and lunches, each meal a delicious showcase of local flavors and culinary expertise. Our experience was unforgettable, thanks to the genuine care and attention we received. If you're looking for a place where you're treated like family, this is the spot. Highly recommended! The Thalassa Naxos is a small, cozy hotel overlooking the sea and a beautifully landscaped garden. The hotel is very tastefully decorated. In my opinion, the sculptures, lamps and paintings are the work of the hotel owners or local artists, as it is a very integrated and uniformly furnished hotel that makes you feel at home. The breakfast is excellent, but unfortunately my wife and I found out too late that you can also have dinner at the hotel. The hotel's culinary offering is also special and consists of fresh fish and seafood (they have their own fisherman) and vegetables from their own garden. In addition to the dishes on the permanent menu, there are also many daily specials. We tried tarama, a Greek dish with cured eggs from carp fish, which was simply outstanding. There are many local white and red wines on offer. In short, it's a great hotel in a quiet location, away from the tourist crowds, but close to exceptional beaches and the Ride with the Gods windsurfing center.

It’s really a gem. Private pool, 10 minutes walk away from a very good restaurant. 500 meters away from the beach and with a short cut you can cycle in 30 minutes to the mountains. To the port it’s 50 minutes on a bicycle.

Beautiful host, so kind leaving us a welcome pack on arrival including wine! 🥰 Location is 5mins from a beautiful sandy beach and 10 mins from a market, beautiful beach side restaurant, bakery and 25mins to Chora(Naxos port). Such a calm and relaxing location and amazing value for money. Thank you 🥰❤️ Greek hospitality is the best in the world in my opinion

A lovely apartment, very comfortable. It had everything. Fully equipped kitchen, good bed, very spacious sofa bed, two bathrooms, beautiful balcony, great outside space with sunbeds next to the pool. The area is quiet, the beach is a 2 minute walk and probably the best beach of the island, not too crowded. Stunning tavernas near by with local food at reasonable prices. The owners are extremely generous, we had fresh eggs, homemade sweets, warm figs that had just come off the tree, butter, rusks, honey, and all the basics for cooking. They were the best hosts. Even when we forgot an item they did everything they could for us to get it back immediately. I would back anytime!

This is a remarkable property: lots of space; fully equipped kitchen (well, it had all that we needed); large kitchen/dining table; large west facing balcony with a big table, chairs, recliner chairs and a hammock, and a view of the sea towards Paros (there are a couple of properties between it and the sea); small front courtyard with a handful of pretty plants. Bathrooms spacious and immaculately clean: looking at the photos we had wondered about the strange (for us) design of the showers -- but they work really well. Comfortable beds. Lots of storage space. Above all it is quiet and peaceful. Windows and doors have mosquito/fly screens -- we weren't particularly plagued but there were a few beasties. It is obvious that the owner takes pride in her property. She kindly provides a basket of essentials on arrival, enough for a breakfast or two. Little extra things: two beach umbrellas; bamboo house slippers. We stayed six days, and we had a cleaning service and change of towels half way through. There are a handful of very good restaurants nearby (one in walking distance), and a couple of supermarkets within a few minutes drive. We noted in other reviews concerns about building works. Kastraki is a resort of independent villas in development. There are a lot of unfinished properties in the area. One such is virtually next door to Villa Tranquillita, and its owner occasionally turned up to play with power tools. We got the impression that he has a day job, and in reality the disturbance was minimal. The owner is friendly and very helpful. She calmed our nerves brilliantly when we had an unscheduled, and then a (surprise) scheduled power cut.

Everything! Quiet location in walking distance from two restaurants, about 20min to a beautiful beach. The views from the 3 terraces were breathtaking. The apartment is nicely decorated, super clean and has a great equipped kitchen. The owners are extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Excellent service and nice interaction from manager and staff, including very good tips to explore the area. Breakfast 'a la carte' with excellent local products but a bit expensive.

    Everything was beyond what we could’ve wanted. The breakfast buffet had so many options and everything tasted great. The beach was only a short walk as well as two different restaurants, plus one on property. Parking was never an issue and the staff were very friendly and always ready to help. We loved our time here and will definitely be booking here again next time we come to Naxos.
