At first I was hesitant to book Elysian Retreat, since it was not view appropriate, like all the other hotels in Oia or Fira facing the Caldera. Hotels with view of the caldera are with no doubt exceptionally unique, but in our times their prices have gone way up. At Elysian Retreat you get a spacious villa with a private pool right in front, at a reasonable price. With only 10 villas (no children allowed), at this Retreat you'll get the chance to unwind and enjoy this serene place to its maximum. I also enjoyed the option of having our quality breakfast or lunch served in our balcony, which felt like being pampered each day. If you want to leave your room there is also another bigger pool to visit, where all the guests hang out. Lovely add to that setting, is their vintage canteen truck that serves drinks, coffees & snacks at any time. The Highlight of our stay were Eleni & Panos! Both always at your disposal, communicating with them even through WhatsApp, they were eager to serve you at any time or even give you suggestions of things to visit or even book. Panos suggested us an amazing taverna at Messaria (Ta Postalia tou Aigaiou), only mainly known to the island's locals. We had an amazing lunch there and I would definitely recommend. Another good suggestion of Panos, was Hassapiko (MaryKay's Bar) in Oia. We had the most Fabulous Cocktail's there. Another Day we also followed Eleni's suggestion to book a semi-private luxury (Sunset boat tour-Lucky8), in order to experience the Caldera at its finest hour. It was Totally Worth it! If I had to visit Santorini again, this would be the place to stay once again!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Oia, just steps from the best views and restaurants. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, always making us feel welcome. Our room was spotless, cozy, and had an amazing view. Everything was peaceful and beautifully maintained. unforgettable time in Santopaz, absolutely recommendable. The house is beautifully embedded in the landscape and perfectly oriented for sunrise and sunset. Everything about this property was amazing and it definitely exceeded our expectations. Our room was beautiful, functional and fully equipped with lots of outlets, kitchen utilities, lots of seating areas indoors and outdoor, and even beautiful decor. We loved the private hot tub and the whole private patio to our room. Everything was kept clean and freshly painted and it truly felt like a luxury experience. The views were gorgeous and we would have had a great sunset view away from the crowds of oia if we lucked out with better weather. The staff was very friendly and helpful and always available for assistance. They surprised us with some freshly cut up fruit, honey and juice brought to our room. The location was very good too, not right inside oia so it was very quiet, peaceful and private, but still a very easy and pretty quick walk straight down the road. There were also supermarkets a short walk away towards Oia and multiple restaurants next to us. We loved this property and our experience there and can’t wait to come back some day.

Amazing stay! This holiday was our last solo trip and for this reason was really magical for us and thanks to the amazing location and stuff it was as perfect as we wish it would be. The hotel it’s just 10 minutes walks far from Oia center. You can enjoy amazing sunset in the privacy of your room. The breakfast it’s rich, fresh and really tasty. The stuff it’s kind and able to satisfy any request. The pool area it’s really cool and chilly, we loved it there so much. The chicken salad served at the pool bar it’s simply amazing, delicious. The checkout it’s at 11 in the morning but our plane was at 22 in the night and the stuff let us spend the last hours of our afternoon on the pool, they gave us towels and we stayed there till the end of the sunset. We would definitely highly recommend this place to everyone. Loved it so much

    The room was very cosy. The property has a swimming pool that our son just lived it. What we appreciated most is that we had cleaning services daily and that the towels were changed daily also. It has a parking lot which is very useful when you rent a car and it is very close to the city center. We just loved our stay.
