What made the stay truly special was learning how the foundation empowers the local community. It added such depth and meaning to our visit. This is a great spot to start your journey in Sumba. Next to the ocean this place belongs to a community and is real, it is run by locals who will assist you with all your needs. The rooms are simple, but very clean and unbeatable for the price, even with AC. The ladies working there were so sweet and nice, they organized a pick-up from the airport, a scooter to rent, and I could even store my luggage with them while I was away for a few days. The breakfast was rich and also yummy dinner options available. I felt very good.
