We had a really comfortable and cosy stay. Lovely home with everything we needed. Would recommend. Really appreciated the open fire already burning when we arrived (even if the house was beautifully cosy without it).

This was the perfect stay for our family with young children. The location was picturesque. The fridge had milk and water and there was tea, coffee and cereal complimentary. We were able to park right outside the front door. The cabin is so cosy inside, with really comfortable beds, great attention to detail and tastefully decorated. There was plenty of space. We especially loved the huge wet room ensuite and the flat screen TV in the master bedroom. We were even blessed with a fan to keep us cool on the hottest night of the year!! Outside there is a hammock and a trampoline which I'm sure we could have made use of had we had more time to stay. The cabin is within a short walk of several bars, shops and restaurants, which is very convenient. Overall, this is definitely one of my new favourite places to stay (and we are regular travellers). We will be back!

Great location, all the staff were lovely, breakfast was fantastic! Beds really comfortable too. Very clean. Lovely atmosphere in the place. Bar is nice, nice little snugs. There was also a late bar with a dj, got nice and busy.

Located in Ballyhaunis, in a historic building, 11 km from Knock Shrine, 'James Lyons' The old main St is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a garden and terrace.

The host is the most hardworking man I've ever met, very polite, cares about his guests, always comes around to make sure his guests are good, always available, gives you all the information, help and support you need. Very focused, organised, hardworking with a smile on his face. You need anything? He's a call away. The hotel has everything to make you feel at home...away from home and that includes a surveillance camera to keep the property secure and make the guests feel safe. The hotel is adjacent to the Bus stop, a stone throw to the train station, and few minutes walk to basic amenities like supermarkets, pharmacy, eatery, you name it. The hotel is perfectly located at the heart of the Town. If you are visiting Ireland, ditch the big cities, start with Ballyhaunis and check into JAMES LYONS B&B, you will thank me later. Nice comfortable big house. Wood central heating which worked perfect and which was needed because it frooze a few nights. 2 bathrooms and a bath. Nice rural area. Got some help with a flat tire, much appreciated. We had a great time, now of to see more of the beautiful country.
