our stay at Goleen harbour was amazing and ticked all the boxes for a great family holiday in west cork. Matt and Sean were super accommodating and made sure we were well looked after. they are incredibly hands on and always happy to assist. Beautiful location! Honestly a breathtaking view from the front of the house. Very comfortable room with a large bathroom. Great shared kitchen and facilities. Beautiful house. Getting to the house is a little difficult but the hosts gave great directions and if you follow them you will have no problems. Wish I could have stayed for a few more nights.

The location was brilliant with excellent scenic views.The owners were lovely people, very friendly and helpful. The Pod was amazing, very clean and well presented. Loved staying there and would happily recommend to others.

The house was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped with everything you might need. The location was superb, a great base for exploring beautiful West Cork. We went sea swimming every day and we were delighted that there was a space to rinse our gear and a covered washing line outside for drying in all weather. Also, Kara, our host, left us flowers, a bottle of wine and some chocolates on arrival, thank you so much for this unexpected surprise!

    This was a great spot to stay! We had a ferry booked for Fastnet Lighthouse the next day so the location was great. The day after, we hiked Mizen Head, so also a great location to stay. There's a fantastic bakery (Along The Way) and a fish and chip place just down the street. We went with my daughter and her fiance so having two nice updated bathrooms in the cottage was a bonus! Make sure you stop at the Altar Wedge Tomb that's very close by. The lock box was very easy to get into so no worries there. Lots of ample parking.
