First time staying in hostel, wasnt sure how all works regarding shared things,information was provided yes and all read. Very happy that you still had your personal little house and toilet. Location was perfect ,stayed one night and very affordable,if needed would definetely come back.

Beautifull place, in the green under a waterfall and near a little steam. The little houses are perfect, they make you feel at home. The staff is smiling, gentle and very helpfull. Good breakfast and nice view of the Icelandic landscape.

There should be a different category for hotels like this: a destination hotel :-) Of course we were road tripping across Iceland, so we never stayed anywhere more than 1 night, but if we had, it would have been here: wow! The staff is VERY friendly and VERY professional, you can see that they enjoy working there. The food was great, the breakfast was wonderful, the lobby is fabulous, the bar and lounge were superb. The entire design and setup of the hotel is just perfect. We had a great room with glacier (lake) view. And don't get me started on the two outdoor hot tubs and the outdoor sauna: we enjoyed it until 22:00 hrs (thank you) after a long drive, and we enjoyed the next morning at 7 AM as well. WOW!

Everything was perfect, price, location, kitchen (free machine coffee, homemade welcome cake with milk and juices included) great, friendly service from the Greek guy. The rooms were a good a size with big comfortable beds and nice bathrooms! Perfect stay not far from Glacier. Definitely a good find

The hotel is on a farm, the reception and the restaurant are by the gates and then The rooms are in two buildings. There is also a museum attached to the restaurant (free of charge). The staff were very good, the rooms were new, well maintained and spacious. Every building has a coffee machine where you can get coffee and tea 24 hours a day for free. We had dinner twice the food was very good and locally sourced. Also the breakfast buffet was good and had lots of options. The glacier is a 15 min drive.

Old Cottages has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Höfn, 12 km from Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. The chalet has private entrance.

The cottage was super nice. The pick-up was easy at the reception of the guesthouse (and there was the possibility to get dinner and breakfast there as well). The location was great. Quiet with a great view of a waterfall/the mountains and just 10 minutes drive away from the Glaciar Lagoon and Diamond Beach.
