Beautifully decorated and comfortable cottage in a quiet location. The hosts messaged us with directions and instructions and they seemed very friendly. Fully equipped kitchen. We had a great night at the cottage and were able to see the northern lights. The drive to the cottage is scenic. We would definitely come back!

This hotel is on the southern shore of the Snaefellsnes peninsula, close to the water. The modern room (comfort twin with glacier view) was spacious with two chairs, a desk and small table, comfortable bed and a nice bathroom with good shower. There are electrical outlets galore in this room. The weather didn't allow for a view but we would have seen the glacier out of our spacious window if the peak hadn't been covered with clouds. The dining room has a very good dinner buffet and excellent breakfast with many hot and cold items. Location is convenient for visiting the Snaefellsjokull National Park (be sure to go to the excellent visitor center at Malarrif) Budir, Hellnar, Arnarstapi, the black pebble beach, and other amazing wonders of the area. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay there. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We arrived later than expected because our toddler has car sickness sometimes. Not only they waited for us until later than 10pm, but they even offered us to wash the dirty (vomited) clothes. They also heated up the room in advance to make sure it was comfortable upon arrival. The room was big and spacious, clean, and the views from the room make it perfect to see the Northern Ligths on a clear night (unfortunately, we were not lucky with the weather).

Idyllic! They are little cottages at the base of the mountain. View is espectacular. Eat at the place, the food is cooked by the family: local, homemade and delicious. 10 mins from seal viewing and about 30 from Snæfellsjökull National Park.

Found 23 km east of Snæfellsnes National Park, this hotel offers bright, modern rooms with private bathrooms. WiFi and parking are free. Snæfellsjökull Volcano is within 20 minutes’ drive.

The room was a bit small but satisfied me as a solo traveller. The dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were very good. It is near the Black Church.

The view was lovely and the space was bigger than we expected. The laundry facilities were perfect for doing a light load before continuing on our adventure. The kitchen was well equipped, coffee and tea were provided. The bed was quite comfortable and you could lie there and watch the sun come up. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was great, close to the church and the beach. The appartment was cosy, well eguiped and our stay was perfect. The massage chair was a good idea.

We loved this property downstairs felt like home with plenty of space. We were there with one other family and really enjoyed interacting with them. The view, kitchen and washing machines were excellent. Check in was efficient and communication with the hosts was easy.
