The staff were excellent. I booked the stay for December instead of November by mistake so they were not expecting us when we arrived. Without any hesitation or fuss they quickly rearranged things and found us a spare room. The town in lovely and the facilities here great. We shopped for food and wine in the town them made ourselves a meal in the hotel kitchen area and used the fridge to keep our wine cold.

We were warmly welcomed. The room is extremely lovingly furnished, even the bed linen, towels and bath accessories are carefully chosen. For breakfast there were freshly baked cakes and pastries, but also savory. Since we had forgotten something, we were called immediately and could pick it up. The great advantage of this accommodation, is that it is personally cared for. You can enjoy the well-kept garden entrance and green surroundings.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality by our incredible host—always smiling, thoughtful, and truly dedicated to making guests feel at home. Every detail of our stay was infused with care and love, making this one of the most memorable experiences we've ever had. The breakfast was nothing short of extraordinary. Each morning we were woken by the smell of freshly baked croissants and treated to an abundant spread that could rival a five-star hotel: homemade fruit tarts, cake and bread, a fresh platter of homemade bacon and sausages, tomatoes, cheese, fluffy omelettes, fresh fruit, juice, and tea and coffee. Everything was crafted with passion, and you could taste the love in every bite. The accommodation itself was equally impressive—classy, elegant, and furnished with timeless antiques that added a touch of old-world charm. The terrace was beautiful and perfect for relaxing, and the room had air-conditioning. Everything was impeccably clean, tidy, and well-organised, down to the sheets and towels trimmed delicately with lace. What truly stood out was the host's attention to every possible detail—from the aesthetics to the atmosphere, nothing was overlooked. He also went out of his way to suggest wonderful places to visit and dine, helping us discover the hidden gems of Civita and its surroundings. Staying here felt like receiving a big, warm hug from Civita itself. It was not just a place to sleep, but a soulful, heartwarming experience that we will never forget. Five stars are simply not enough for the effort, generosity, and hospitality we received. Highly, highly recommended.. We only stayed for 1 night, but wish we stayed longer. The accommodation is very comfortable as a family of 4, but the town of Civita is a true gem. You are really immersed in the traditional Italian lifestyle here, not super touristy which is always a win for us, and just full of charm. The mountainous location is stunning and there's actually a lot to explore for nature lovers.

Antonella's apartment was lovely. Its in a beautiful, quiet location at the top of the village with incredible views. Antonella was super helpful with restaurant recommendations and other info on the village. Civita has a handful of good restaurants and the delicatessen Carlomagno is amazing. We really liked Agora restaurant for the atmosphere, local food and great value. We were cycling most days.We were not so lucky with the weather but the scenery was stunning. We got great advice on the Pollino national park from Manuella at the visitor centre Catasta- which also does great food.Would definitely recommend a visit there. The cycling options are good- especially for gravel bikes. They are also just finishing a bike path cycle route that will be a good addition. Hopefully it'll be done for when we come back!

    We loved everything about this beautiful accommodation and the host Mara, it was luxury with some much care given to its guests, the hospitality was outstanding, the food even more so, the breakfast was fit for a King and Queen and we were made to feel like one. There was parking for the car, the town was beautiful friendly with historical walks close by, we dined in a local restaurant and had an amazing meal and exceptional bottle of wine ( restaurant was called Kamastra)

    The breakfast was unbelievable!!!! So many tasty choices. Our room was lovely with a great porch. The B&B was just around the corner from the center of town and there is also parking. Would highly recommend this property.

    The property was very cheerful with a lavender room and the main room of the B&B was yellow. Hostess, Marianna, was very friendly but her knowledge of English was limited. There were only 2 of us but we booked the triple room which had parking right outside the room.

    What delightful accommodation. Everything was just perfect. Fantastic views from our balcony and a lovely room in a building over 100 years old. Our host made us feel most welcome, she was a lovely person. Free parking a short walk away.

    Marianna was a superb host, attentive to all our needs. I would give her 10+ for all categories if I could. We even arranged for her to give me a cooking lesson; she was a magnificent teacher of the local Maccherone plus more. Her food was the best so far in Italy and she even packed us a picnic lunch to go when we left. And so centrally located, with a beautiful view of the mountain from our bed. And easy parking under her house. Such a cute quiet mountain top town, especially in late September.
