This is a peaceful, tranquil, beautiful place. The view from the room was stunning. Seeing the town of Montone in this distance was beautiful from morning to night. Everything in the room was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you need to cook. The property is beautiful and we walked everyday on the road and trails. It is just 5 minute drive or 15 minutes walk to Montone which has several restaurants. The Wednesday morning market in Umbertine was wonderful. The whole area is green and quiet and very laid back...lovely for taking country drives. We loved visiting Gubbio. The host is very helpful, accommodating and kind. He prepared a perfect breakfast and coffee for us each morning. This place is a delight. Anyone would be lucky to stay here!

The hotel is in a stunningly beautiful location. Our room had a balcony over-looking the surrounding hills and the swimming pool looks out on them too. The pool is a good size so you can have a proper swim. The hotel is just outside the walls of the pretty mountain village of Montone; the height means there is a nice breeze even during very hot weather. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

This is amazing place: room was great, we had an extra bed for our 11yearold, but even with an extra bed we had plenty of space. Breakfast was very good and authentic. Analisa was super friendly and very caring. Stefano and his daughter are amazing hosts. The pool was very good. But the best thing that you hardly can see anywhere else are the animals: a lot of exotic animals living very comfortably at the farm. Not only fun for children, but my husband and I loved them too!

The property lives up to all expectations! Perched high above a stunning bowl of landscape, our terrace almost had a 360 degree view. It is a unique 'off the beaten track' experience. Our hosts did so much to make our stay comfortable. Our apartment had so much character; cleverly designed with kitchen and sitting room on the ground floor and a comfortable bed up in the rafters. We were crazy enough to walk there and set-off with our back packs after a delicious breakfast. We just loved the beautiful scenery and wildlife along the way. An experience to be treasured!

Wonderful stay! The best on my Camino di Assisi! Marcello, the host, picked me up from Pietralunga and the next morning he dropped me at the right point to continue my way. Great people, very friendly, they speak English well and take good care of pilgrims. They're very human and helpful in every way. I was given excellent breakfast! The room was really nice and big with an amazing view on the hills. I hope to come back to this place :)
