The hospitality was amazing, close to Venice about half an hour by car, a pastoral and pleasant place, the room was spacious and pleasant and very clean, we entertained them well with a great breakfast.

Fantastically convenient for Marco Polo airport 20 minutes’ drive distant, easy to find. Best of all was the Castello itself! Such an impressive building, and our room was wonderful, at the top of the tower (but there’s a lift if you don’t like stairs). Very peaceful. Garden and statuary are beautiful. Even the car park is atmospheric. We ate a delicious seafood dinner at the nearby family-run and very attractive Ristorante Galli, 5 minutes walk, highly recommended. the Castello di Roncade is also a vineyard of repute, check out the Villa Giustinian once given to President Giscard d’Estaing (although we didn’t go there for wine tasting, it would be tempting to return on another trip for that). I owe thanks to the Tripadvisor reviewer Stephen from Suffolk who said the location kept jumping out of the page at him. Glad I trusted him!

Lovely and calm atmosphere inside and outside in the garden. We arrived in the evening from a busy day in Venice and enjoyed Prosecco in the lovely garden. The B&B is well furnished and the owner incredibly polite and ready to accommodate your wishes. Breakfast had a selection of pastries, freshly cut meat, fruit, coffee and fresh pressed juice. Despite only staying one night, we can with confidence say this B&B concept is well thought trough and the owner is passionate to serve visitors to her fullest!

    Location was really wonderful, with an awesome courtyard and a Venetian style restored villa. We had a top tower room which was huge and kind of empty. The room had a medieval atmosphere with huge wooden roof beams visible. The added bathroom was OK, nice towels and good toiletries, everything working properly. Initially the room served as the defense tower platform and was converted in a room sometimes after the defense needs wasn't there anymore. Parking was perfect, inside the property and very secure.

    Splendid: an original 16th-century villa with a couple of rooms in the villa itself and some more in the historic towers. Excellent service. Plus a Prosecco, red and white wine winery attached, which can be visited and its products tasted and bought. And a splendid historic garden. Good breakfast. Parking available within the compound.

    Breakfast was fine, but the quiet, the tranquility was amazing. Its proximity to the train station that gets you straight to the water transport for wherever you need to go in greater Venice is perfect. No hassle with the garages, and parking lots, this is the perfect way to visit Venice and also relax. It will be my primary choice from now on when I come to visit Venice
