Rocco and Alexa were amazing hosts. Even though we arrived way later than expected due to traffic issues, they greeted us with the warmest welcome and made us feel right at home from the moment we stepped through the door: every little detail of the room they prepared for us was so thoughtfully arranged, and they had everything a weary traveller could possibly need. We truly felt like walking into a cozy haven after our long and bumpy journey, and we instantly felt all our stress melt away! Everything was perfect. Location, the villa itself, breakfast, the owners. The villa is a renovated building of 18th century, The job had been done is incredible and the result is obvious. Breakfast is simple but healthy and very very tasty with local and handmade bio products. This is the concept anyway. You must have the option with breakfast. The facilities are perfect. Marco and Marta are a very polite, courteous and cultivated couple. Also every morning at breakfast time they were kind to sing 1-2 songs in the piano. Value for money also.

Everything! A beautiful house, in the heart of beautiful village Soave. It exceeded our expectations. The room tastefully decorated, comfortable bed and clean. The staff were amazing! Arriving by train was not the best option, Chiara however organised a Taxi to pick us up from San Bonifacio train station. I would recommend staying here if you have a car, also because there is no restaurant at the property, which we didn't think to check beforehand. Francesca drove us to Soave for dinner on her way home from work one evening because the road from Monte Tondo to Soave is a bit tricky to walk along. We did manage to do so a few times though (once at nicht with three lights to warn cars of our location) to wander through Soave and the adjoining vineyards. On the way home we got stuff from the supermarket and had a nice picnic at the property accompanied by the house wine from the minibar.

Roxy Plaza sounds like some Las Vegas casino, but Hotel Roxy Plaza in Soave is far from that, it’s in fact a classic hotel right on the edge of the walled town of Soave and the junior suite has a wonderful view of the castle. When you walk into the hotel you’ll receive a warm welcome from the receptionist and the atmosphere is immediately warm and inviting. Breakfast and cleaning staff all excellent, the underground parking was large enough for an SUV. We enjoyed our stay. Soave is a lovely little town from the Middle Ages complete with castle and moated town wall, it is vibrant especially on Sundays with plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes, small shops. The Soave wine area is also interesting for walkers and cyclists. Tip: should you wish to take the train to Verona, San Bonifacio is the local station with a 20-25 minute connection to Verona.

    Once again, I enjoyed fantastic accommodation in the center of Soave right in front of mediaeval fortress. Hotel owner managed free parking lot for my car 5 mtrs from the hotel which was highly appreciated. I liked high-end building refurbishment and stylish rooms.
