Amazing location, very clean, friendly staff, tasty dinner! For the price we didn’t expect it to be such a high standard, however we had stayed at a hotel (5*) the night before at the Dead Sea and we both think the Black Iris was so much nicer and cleaner than the 5* hotel! We would highly recommend and would come here again if back in Madaba.

Carmen was the best host ever! She made us feel like home. She's a helpful person, really cares about her guests, and even organized a vegan breakfast for me. This place is absolutely lovely! Our room was cozy, the shower had hot water, we had everything we needed. Thank you so much Carmen!

We had a wonderful one-night stay at this guesthouse. The room was well-equipped, very clean, and the air conditioning kept us warm and cozy. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and well-balanced. Of course, what we loved the most was the presence of Coco, the real master of the house—such an adorable dog! Carmen is a kind and honest host, and the location is great, not far from the city center. We highly recommend it!

My best accommodation in Jordan! You feel at home immediately. Ray, at the reception will do his best to help you and organize everything for you. The place is excellent value. Very clean and comfortable room with a balcony and a view on the mosq. Excellent location too, in central Madaba close to shops and places of interest.
