The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The host, although speaking limited English, was superlatively hospitable and did his absolute utmost to guide us through the traditional tea ceremony. It was also so very appreciated that we were able to bring our pet!

This was a very positive experience. The room (end of the corridor) was plenty big enough for the two of us, allowing us to pack the three suitcases we had before sending them to the airport. Laundry facilities were clever, as you could see on your TV when a machine was available. Cleaning staff were exceptionally helpful - one day we asked for extra water as we were thirsty, and the lady remembered the following day as well. Reception team were professional but still friendly - you always get a better vibe in Tohoku in comparison to Kanto, in my opinion. Also, there was a microwave available near our room, which enabled us to cook proper meals when we weren't eating out. The bathroom was really nice, too - unusually spacious.

Location - right by the train station (also in terms of morning train transfer to the airport) + proximity to very nice dinner options. Great choice for breakfast. Very comfortable room, great bathroom. One of the 2 best rooms we have had during our 3 weeks holidays in Japan.
