Great service and food. Iiyama line was suspended but they offered a shuttle from bus stop nearby. It really cheered me up with the real vibe of “yukiguni” and outdoor onsen when snow flowing over me.

Old house with not simply vintage style but real details. Love all the furniture and the wood stove at first sight. Nobu welcomed us with some nice herbal tea. She speaks fluent English and we had some nice conversations. She also recommended and gave us a ride to a nice public bath. What we cherished most is the special visit to Mr. Kawanaka, the local artist. It’s our pleasure to meet him and appreciate his artwork. Truly memorable journey. Thank you!

Satoshi san was so helpful and dependable. We felt relieved when he extended his time and effort to pick up us from Nakazato yuzawa sta. instead of Echigo yuzawa sta. The people at the resort. All of them were absolutely wonderful - warm, helpful and congenial. Also, the room, the ski-ing and view - Exemplary.

As usual, breakfast was good. But buffet dinner was just fabulous. We miss it so much the day we have to move to another hotel because this hotel was fully booked. This is our go-to hotel every time we visit Echigo Yuzawa for a ski holiday. It has nice onsen too. The location is great. You can see the hotel from the West Exit of the train station. However, it is up on a slope and it will be more convenient to call the hotel for a pick up so you do not need to drag your luggage there.
