It was our privilege to be able to stay in this amazing, historical accommodation. It was very quiet and relaxing, and we slept great. Breakfast was delicious. Seunghwan, the owner, and his family went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and they even gave us a few rides around the area, for what we are really grateful. We had a great time in Taehwa House! We came to Andong to visit Hahoe Folk Village, but weren't very lucky with the weather. So it was particularly delightful to find refuge in this nicely decorated and elegantly refurbished hanok. The owner was very friendly, welcoming and warm and swiftly answered all our questions. She even left some lovely gifts for us. We were so wet and cold when we arrived, that we just decided to stay in for the rest of the evening and enjoy the stay in the hanok. We would have loved to stay for a bit longer, but unfortunately time is always too short. Thank you vary much for a great stay in Andong!

A gorgeous quaint little guest house in a central location bed was duper comfortable with beautiful bed linen. The tiny bathroom was by far their best organised of any we stayed in of this size. Outside sitting area was good and they retro antiques added character. Very helpful list if things to do places to eat etc provided along with a tablet to scroll through. Outstanding value for money

- Loved the comfortable vibe of this place. It matches the serene nature of Andong - It really felt like every corner of this hostel is taken care of with a lot of care and attention by the owner and the staff - The lounge area downstairs is beautiful and it allows for good conversations as well has places where you can go to have some quiet time - The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Sometimes even going out of their way to help me out - I found the crowd that come to the hostel to be really good. I made some good friends who I could go to the town with - The breakfast was really good and very filling - You had the option of buying more food or drinks from the cafe if needed. - The cats and the library books just made the whole place so lively

This brand new hotel ticked all the boxes! Excellent location in a newly developing area. Lots of eateries nearby; a jogging trail around the lake at the back of the property; walking trails in local parks across the road, and all just 5km away from historic Hahoe Village. Our room overlooked what will soon be another major development, but is currently just an empty section (I would recommend requesting a room at the back overlooking the lake). Everything in the room was wonderful - morning sun; double glazing (so absolutely no road noise); great shower; wonderful toiletries (shampoo/conditioner/body wash); a mini fridge; daily cleaning; comfie bed; lots of charging points and plugs. The breakfast buffet is the best we have had yet on our trip, and definitely recommended, with both western food (hash browns, bacon, pastries, coffee), along with multiple Korean dishes. We used the gym for a back/biceps weight session, and while the equipment is a little limited, there is still enough for a good workout (a full dumbell set up to 20kg, abductor/adductor machine, hyper-extension machine, Smith rack, and two incline benches). This is the second Stanford hotel we have stayed at on our tour of the country, and they are all obviously top notch!!!

Just everything. The host lady was so so so nice. We felt so at ease. She even brought us some tea and biscuit in a traditional tray.The room was just just just wow. It was very clean as well.The breakfast was tooo good. I felt like in joseon era which is so so so coool. If I knew i would have like it so soo so much, would have stayed two nights. Maybe next time 🤭 For all the joseon era kdrama lovers, this is a must stay place. If you get the opportunity, bring a hanbok and blend in this nice place for cool photos. I really really really loved this place.

    We took a taxi easily from the main Andong town here although we could have also eaasily taken a bus too. There was also good car parking spaces. The house was historic and beautiful and the room comfortable and clean. The bathroom is outside but clean. The beds were really comfortable and a great authentic touch. The room was warm and the owner was kid and hospitable. Note that there is no breakfast severed or restaurants nearby so make sure to eat before you go or bring snacks so you can enjoy the house well!

    The hotel is in a great location close to the center and market. It has free parking that was extremely convenient. The person who received us in the reception had a very good level of English but the one who stayed there at night didn't. The bed mattress was hard - we loved it but I am aware not everyone may like it. The hotel gives a good value for the money - is clean and have big rooms but don't expect luxury

    Free parking lot, which sadly was really crowded in the evenings. It was right in the middle of Andong and near the market and sightseeing spots.

    Lovely decor downstairs, the cats are very cute and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. It was close enough to Hahoe Folk Village with a car. There was parking on the main road when the car park was full.
