The host of Etalon was the best host we ever had. He picked us up for a fee at the railway station, he drove us for a fee to Charyn Canyon and dropped us off at our next apartment. He was superfriendly, kind and made us feel like a friend of the family instead of a paying customer. He also arranged a wonderful horseride with his daughter, she's a guide. We liked playing pingpong, the outside shower. He made our stay perfect. Thank you very much!

Clean, spacious, everything looks like in the pictures and is up to high western standards. We felt very happy here and are sad that we could only stay a single night. Staff was also very helpful.

The location was breathtaking the view of mountains and snow fall was extremely amazing. The staff are very polite as there were stair to reach the room I requested for help and they helped us with open arms. The reception will give you a card with her watsapp number so you have any questions you can text her .. breakfast was in house..we requested for deluxe room with sauna in the room the bathrooms were spacious and living room have massive sofa cum bed with bed sheets and extra towels stored in the closets . Room is equipped with heaters and A/C and bathrooms floors are heated aswel. Room service charge 5000 tengee ( I would suggest call for a taxi and go downstairs there are cafes next to medeu cable car station ) If you are checking out early eg. 6am ( there are not yandex taxi available at the location) WhatsApp the reception and book for a cab, but after 10am you can book for a yandex taxi for airport. They also have a qazaq traditional restaurant at the hotel for a qazaq food experience we tried one night before and it was amazing. The place offers hiking also shymbulak skiing resort. We stayed in city for 5days and also wanted to experience stay in mountains for 2nights believe me its bit pricey but the view heals your inner peace. I would 100% recommend this place.

We went here for a family trip to Kazakhstan. We came late night from Indonesia, the staff was very helpful (I think he also the owner). We stayed here for 4 night, the food was really great.. Will absolutely come back here again if we ever have the chance to visit Kazkhstan again
