Everything in our stay was perfect. The location of Kandalama lodge is great if you want to visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Sigirya and Pidurangala. The lodge is cleverly designed, and well maintained. The garden is a quiet oasis, peaceful and beautiful. We stayed in both the deluxe villa with the private pool and the “regular” rooms. We enjoyed both. The staff made our stay even better. I’ve never seen a manager, cook and helpers so attentive in my life. I rarely rate a stay a 10/10 but they deserve it.

Excellent clean room, friendly welcome. Nice fresh juice on arrival. Better than the pictures! Very nice new AC, great bathroom with hot showers, really good mosquito nets with elastic edging. Set well back from the lorry and bus filled busy main road with really nice views across to the hills, was very tranquil. Can sit out the front of your room or there was the covered eating area with dartboard. Re-opened 7 months ago and the new owners are doing a great job. Included breakfast with fruit, toast and eggs. Would thoroughly recommend this place if staying in dambulla, great value and as mentioned before, away from the busy main road.

We had a really pleasant stay at Aloe Vera Guesthouse. The rooms were clean, and the accommodation was well-maintained. Our host, Herath, was friendly and shared a lot of interesting stories with us. Both breakfast and dinner were good and well-prepared. Overall, it was a very nice experience and we would go there anytime again!

The room was impeccable, large bed and crispy clean bed sheets. Little details like fresh flowers decorations and an amazing shower with a view to a jungle. The room also has a balcony and a front terrace, where you can enjoy meals prepared by the hosts. Simoya owners can also organise local travel and transfers on requests. They know about their country and explain you about it with passion. If you want to have a very relaxing stay in a very tranquil area - Simoya Park can be your home away from home.

Staying at the Green Jungle was the best start we could have had in our trip in Sri Lanka. The accomdation is great, very clean, well located, but the most special part is the support and care of the host family!! They gave us great recommendations, helped us to choose the best tours and showed us their favourite sunset spot, which was fantastic. We highly recommend the Green Jungle!

This place is right in nature and full of creativity! The owner has built everything by himself and you feel the care and love that they have put into this place. Food is great and the room is clean and big. I also forget my trouser there and the owner made sure that i received it at my next destination. How amazing & helpful.     This property is in a nice spot, walking distance to the main strip but far enough back to not hear traffic or mosque noise. Breakfast was traditional and lovely. The view from the room was nice. There was a verandah with chairs to sit in to relax. The shower is great and there is a nice view through the window. They offer parking outside reception. The room is spacious. If they were able to improve some of the items I’ve mentioned below this would be a great hotel.

    The room was clean, comfy beds and a small kitchenette. The location is perfect - a few steps from the main street, but it is really quiet with a nice garden. The breakfast is very good: big portions, tasty dishes both local and Western - the breakfast is served in a beautiful room with a small fish pond. There is a parking right at the entrance, and they can also provide a stay for your driver. The family who run the place are very nice.

    Clean and well kept property within walking distance of main street and short tuk tuk ride to cave temple. Hosts really friendly and breakfast good. Rooms with Aircon and nice bathroom with hot and cold shower and plenty of towels. Small balcony area outside room and seating downstairs. Gated property so secure parking if you need it. Would stay again.

    I definitely recommend!! The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The bed very comfortable and bed sheets fresh and nice smell. Hot water for request. Free parking.
