I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing convenience, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind. I also really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who truly made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

What an amazing experience!!! This is a wonderful place that takes you back in time. The garden, the good and mostly the people working there are amazing! We stayed 2 days but wish we could have stayed longer. This place is idéal for totally disconect and enjoy the wonderful nature that is all around. Spacious, clean rooms and a comfortable bed. Hot shower which is really nice in the sometimes chilly evenings of Nuwara Eliya. The host is wonderful and does everything to help you. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice, as well as the dinner.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly kind and helpful. He arranged tuktuks for our longer rides at a good price, which made everything so much easier. We enjoyed breakfast and had also dinner at a very good price. One morning, when we left for a hike very early, he even prepared a breakfast to go, which was such a thoughtful gesture. His whole family is truly lovely and welcoming.

The host family are great people. Beautiful breakfasts. We really enjoyed walking in the area through tea plantations and watching all facets of vegetable production. The balcony was lovely to sit and watch local life.
