What a find this was. Clean modern rooms in beautiful surroundings with a lovely pool. This is the definition of a hidden gem. You simply must eat here in the evening, the food was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka and generous portions. We saw a wine store as we drove in ( less than 5 mins drive for those interested), when we asked about available drinks the manager offered to drive and get what we wanted. Breakfast was lovely and they even bought a fridge to our room for us to use. There are sun beds and tables and chairs in the grounds so we spent the evening sitting out watching the sun go down over the paddy fields, simply beautiful. If you are looking for somewhere fabulous to stay between Negombo and Sigiria. Look no further. You won’t find better.

Had an amazing one-night stay.The room was clean,cozy and well furnished with a big TV.Washroom was spotless with good water pressure.Wi-Fi was fast and reliable.The meal provided was fresh and tasty.Staff were friendly and helpful.Quiet location,safe environment. The hotel is surrounded by nature. You can spot parrots around the house. Its an extraordinary place to relax with quite some activities - we did a hike to a small waterfall which was lovely and relaxed by the infinity pool. We would loved to stay longer than just 1 night! The rooms are big, super clean. The food is super tasty and the service excellent. Highly recommend this place a bit off the beathen paths to enjoy nature.

Either the hotel has meanwhile improved or others were just unlucky, but we didn’t experience any of the negative aspects mentioned in the comments. We had a brand new refurbished and very clean room with touch screens, air-con was working perfectly. The pool is very clean, we spent several hours in there. Breakfast buffet has a large choice (both western and Sri Lanka) with great quality. We also went for the diner buffet, wich also offered excellent food at a reasonable price (6000 rupies for two persons except drinks). The hotel lies in walking distance from the train station on a main road, but our room headed to the inner court with the swimming pool and we could not hear any traffic. I can’t say anything about the TV program as I’m not staying in hotels to watch TV.
