This was probably my first night truly close to the jungle a very cool and unique experience. You can hear all kinds of animals and insects at night, which makes it feel incredibly immersive. The cabin is nestled in a tropical garden, right inside the jungle. There’s also a swimming pool and a restaurant at their nearby hotel, and they take you there free of charge no pressure to order. One of the highlights was being able to see elephants from the pool and restaurant without paying any extra it was honestly magical. The host, Edward, was very kind and helpful. He even woke up early to pack our breakfast, such a thoughtful gesture.

Once you enter the property is like stepping back in time, where modernity mixes with history in a very relaxing atmosphere, the staff is young and willing to go above and beyond of your expectation, nothing is impossible, a smile is guaranteed, bed are comfortable and rooms are super well equipped and really chic, food is very good and we cannot wait to come back good job guys!!! Well I don’t know where to start. I could write a book about this place. We were in love from the minute we checked in, the family made us feel so welcome. Our room was huge lovely quirky little pond in the room with a few fish. The bathroom was really really stunning made out of all recycled rocks and the room was immaculately clean. Little pool to cool down at the end of the day, amazing breakfast. We had a cooking class which was offered by Gayashan and we also had a barbecue with the family which included music. This family quickly became a part of our family. They couldn’t do enough for us. I miss the children they are so lovely, also not forgetting Bruno, kitty and their cockerel. We booked Gayashan for the rest of our tour of Sri Lanka (15 days) and what an amazing guy he is. He’s friendly, he’s funny, he has an amazing sense of humour, he goes above and beyond to make your stay Just perfect. I cannot wait to come back. This is the first time to Sri Lanka and it will certainly not be the last. ❤️❤️❤️ I waited until I was back in the UK to do my review and let’s just say I miss you so much my brother from another mother. The bond between Gayashan and my husband will last a lifetime.

We stayed at Green Leaves for one night prior to starting a tour around Sri Lanka. Anushka and his family are very welcoming and approachable and we are grateful to have been welcomed to their home. In the afternoon Anushka took us to a nearby monastery to watch the sunset behind the mountains, and to have tea with a local family. The next day we went to visit Ambuluwawa tower before travelling to Negombo. The mud chalet is very clean and tidy, with AC and mosquito nets. Anushka and his family prepared food for us which was very tasty. Overall we had a fantastic time, and staying here was a great start to our trip. Anushka and his family were very helpful when we had some questions, and taught us about the local customs and history

Andrew and his staff are amazing. They were always helping us out with everything and they were taking care of us like family. The room is spacious, modern and clean with air conditioning. The kingsize bed is great. The shower is wonderfull with all the toiletteries.There is fast wifi. The location is great, near the river with a incredible view. Their breakfast is amazing and delicous. With the dinner there was live music. The pool is great and has an amazing view It was an unforgettable experience to see all the elephants Thank you all for a wonderfull stay 10 out of 10

    The hotel is great for elephant watching. You can have breakfast and watch the swim. The pool is open in the evening and we managed to swim after the road and go to a delicious dinner. The air conditioning worked perfectly in the room, there were no insects, there was tea/coffee. Good parking. Huge balcony. I highly recommend staying there!

    The room is just in front of water where elephants bath and chill. Everyday they come 8;30 AM (first 6 old ones) and 10:00 AM (rest of the group). If you come on bike or car there is a nice parking. Hotel is a little bit old but still good. Checkin is 4 PM or you can pay entrance ticket to checkin early (imo not worth it since you see main attraction in front of your room in the morning)

    Very nice bed and pillows, good price for this accommodation. Unfortunately, no any discount to see elephants. And if you come to this hotel by car or bike, the parking is free, don’t pay any guys over there.

    Location is very convenient to visit the Elephant orphanage & zoo. They have a hotel downstairs. Can take food from there. There are lots of closerby places for food as well. Room is good. Spacious, Clean with basic amenities & hot water & AC. Enough parking space front. Prices are reasonable. Ideal for a night stay during Pinnawala visit

Affordable price .Room cleaning, room comfortable, bathroom clean ,balcony,A/C , TV ,food & service everything good no words …. Staff so respectful and friendly.
