We absolutely loved it here, we’ve even got a room upgrade when we arrived (thank you!!). Everyone is really nice and the food is just amazing, make sure to get your dinner here. The view to the fields & the lake is absolutely amazing! You can also rent bikes to get to the city.

I made a booking here after I have read all the amazing reviews and I’m so glad I did. Nalin is such a nice person and just an amazing host! He contacted us after booking and we always stayed in touch. He was happy to help us with anything we needed and always provided with great tips and info. We were really touched with his hospitality. They cooked a great dinner just was for us that was included in the stay and it was soo good! Their house is beautiful, new, very clean. WiFi worked good. They even met us with welcome drinks and Nalin woke up at 4am to make a tea before our safari. Tissa itself is so beautiful town that is really worth visiting not only for Yala. We wish we could stay longer, we hope to come back again! Thank you very much Nalin 😊

the owners were wonderful. great food, excellent recommendations for sightseeing (they provided even a bicycle to go there), wake-up-service at 4.15am for the safari, free „taxi“-service to their neighbour to see deer and to the bus station. and the owners love animals, help you spot birds or crocodiles by the river. just excellent!

Sooo much food!! Great mini-safari (raining so we did nearly 3 hours and saw loads of deer, boars, monkeys, crocodiles, birds etc). Woken up to monkeys on our tent room which was amazing!

The best part of this property apart from its beautiful location is the wonderful manager Mr.Danushka. He literally does all the work here and is absolutely efficient and so hospitable. We would totally go back to stay here with family, because we know he’d take care of every single thing.

Randy was a great host. We arrived close to 9pm and he stayed in touch with my driver. He welcomed us with a delicious drink and fruits. We had to go to a safari tour at 6am the next morning and he also prepared a snack pack for us. Very delicious and everything at no cost! Very professional and attentive service. I wish I could stayed longer.

    Firstly I'd like to say that the room, hotel, grounds and surrounding area are lovely. The room is huge, nicely decorated and blooming lovely. The rest of the hotel has a very warm, welcoming and cosy feel to it. I wasn't able to try the hotels breakfast as I left early the next day for the safari that the hotel had organised for me. There's parking, aircon in the rooms. But it's safe to say that the pictures don't do the place justice.
