We felt immediately at home in this little oasis. Sophie is the perfect hostess - giving us some fantastic recommendations and making us feel very welcome. Mehdi was a brilliant chef and entertained us with his conversation. Shout out to the property pets too - who are very friendly too!

The riad dar Awil was the second at during my trip and it did set up expectations for the others. The service from the personal is excellent. They are polite, professional and made sure I have a quick check in and a comfortable stay. Rooms were super clean, the hotel seems to be new, the design was super cozy. Breakfast was great. Thank you to everyone at Riad Dar Awil for making my stay so memorable. I could gladly return and recommend this riad to anyone visiting Essaouira.

The rooms were spacious and luxurious. Huge en-suite bathrooms. We were a group of 5 Girl friends. We felt extremely safe and the staff were very attentive to our needs. When we mentioned there was no fridge in the double bedroom we had one bought for us. As well as toiletries and lovely soft towels. The restaurant had amazing views and the location although the edge of diabat and essouirra we found the activities much more easily and could enjoy the pleasant evening walk to the medina. Easy to catch a taxi to and fro , quite cheaply from the hotel. The breakfast was top quality and a la carte. We had an amazing time at this hotel would recommend.

The location is great, right in the centre, with a good breakfast and clean comfortable rooms. Said and Abdo are super friendly and helpful. Ask them for anything and they will go out of their way to try and help. We enjoyed the fact that it is a new Riad with modern, yet traditional decoration and very clean and well looked after. Nice cooperative KAPCIM nearby (few minutes walk) for nice souvenirs and a nice restaurant. Note: no airconditioning as it is not necessary because the temperature is very nice during evening/night

    EVERYTHING! The place is beautiful! Really comfortable House and great staff. The pool is nice, you can park the car inside the gates, we got quite a lot of tea, the breakfast is amazing!!! The rooms are great and really comfortable. This is a great place to relax! We even got extra towels for the pool! Thank you very much Laetitia for this beautiful stay.
