The riad was very cosy, especially the terrasse with the great view over the city. Khalid was an amazing host, kind and easily reachable. Delicious breakfast on the terrasse in the sun. We definitely recommened this place!

My stay at the Iguana Azul was simply wonderful! If you are looking for a place to relax, quiet, with breathtaking views and extremely kind staff, Iguana is everything you could want to spend extremely happy days in Chefchaouen. Starting with the location, which when you arrive in the vicinity of the Medina you will walk about 5 minutes to reach the accommodation. It is located inside the medina, close to all points of interest, picturesque streets, restaurants, cafes. Speaking of coffee, you will have a transcendental experience when you have breakfast beautifully organized by the iguana staff. In addition to being delicious and filling, the view is stunning, to the mountains. I loved to spend at least two hours of my day there relaxing. There is also, on the floor above, a decorated Rooftop, where you will have a panoramic view of the blue city 🫂 The employees are there to help with everything necessary, such as visiting tips, buying tickets, recommending restaurants and whatever else is necessary. This small Riad is located almost at the top of hill, to get there you need to carry your luggage on multiple stairs but the staff is extremly helpful and manage this for you, the rooms are newly completed and in good state, the food served was nice and meets a hungry stomach needs, very friendly staff and looks like a riad that is growing in size.

First time we stayed in Princess Ilham was in 2018 when just opened. Got here for the second time, a had the same room. Suite in 1st floor, 2 bedrooms, and balcony with amazing view to blue city of Chefchaouen. Breakfast was served till 11am on the terrace, and it was very large breakfast and very tasty. There is a possibility to make a dinner of your choice also in the hotel. Otherwise outside you can grab some food or drinks from small shop nearby. Meeting with the owner make this experience more personal, and warm. I can definitely recommend this hotel!

Our room had a large sitting area with fabulous views over the mountains. The bed was comfy and the hammock on our balcony was a lovely touch. The food at supper and breakfast was delicious and the staff were all very friendly and helpful

The location was amazing with a beautiful view. The architecture was beautiful. The staff were friendly and breakfast was delicious. They allowed us to leave our baggage there after we checked out and were very accomodating. Nice shampoo and body wash was provided.

Perfect location at the top of the medina and a 1-minute walk to the car parking above (taxis can stop there too). The view from the terrace for breakfast, with the whole town below you, is priceless. Breakfast itself is delicious and abundant. I stayed in two rooms (had to change) and both were clean, comfortable, reasonably sized and nicely decorated. The hosts offered good tips and were always available -- without being too "present", as it can sometimes happen in small/family-run accommodations. I decided to stay an extra day; this was really a nice place to say! (The beds are comfortable but on the "firm" side; if you like a soft mattress this ain't it. Not necessarily a bad thing, but FYI).

We travel al lot, and stay in a lot of hotels, but this is definitely one we'll never forget. Situated in the heart of the old Medina, this beautifully decorated hotel offers all the luxury and comfort you can wish for. We had the suite on the top floor, which gives you a stunning view over the city and the mountains from your private terrace. The possibility that you can reserve the entire swimming pool just for yourselves, is amazing. Breakfast is perfect. The wellness packages they offer, are absolutely superbe. We tried the Hammam, the massage, and the facial treatments. It all was perfect. And last, but not least, a big shout out to the staff! The reception was run by two young ladies who both did an outstanding job to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They were professional, very kind and helpful, and certainly added to the fact that we had one of our better stays ever. Thank you ladies. Till next time, Ins Allah.
