The staff made our stay wonderful, nothing was too much hassle, the location was ideal for exploring the Christmas markets and is exactly where you need to be when visiting Valkenburg, the room was immaculate and the breakfast had a great selection, parking is available, we will definitely be back again! Very nicely designed guest house wirh wonderful and friendly service, great attitude to visitors needs, Good wifi and parking. Eggs tree was lovely surprise and room with a View! Can't ask for more.Nearby is a local train line to Maastricht.Next time will book for few days and will explore more. Soft and delicate bed clothing makes your sleep very enjoyable. Valkenburg is a foody paradise and Thermae 2000 is great spa just 10 minutes away.

The hotel ambience for xmas was exceptional with all the decorations and the free biscuits and hot chocolate was an extra touch that made our stay that more enjoyable . The room was well presented and clean and tidy - the bed was so so comfortable. We have stayed here before and never been disappointed - we look forward to our next stay at Hotel Janssen - the location is excellent for our stay at valkenburg and it never disappoints . Thank you to all the staff that go the extra mile - the hospitality is outstanding - well done .

Great location, big comfortable room with very high ceilings. Clean, well presented. A fabulous breakfast is served in the building across the courtyard. Full access to the facilities in the main hotel, which is a 10 minute walk through the town. There's private parking behind the villa. It was very welcome as we were touring on our motorbikes. Our room (803) also had an annexe with a large table and chairs and double doors with steps to an outdoor seating area in the grounds under the shade of a large tree. 2 minutes walk into the centre of Valkenberg. Lots to see and do. We would stay again.

    Perfect location, friendly and cooperative staff. The concept of the shared large living room next to the reception with a self service bar and board games etc works very well. Bit tight bathroom and bedroom and only for those who can walk up a couple of stairs with your luggage. Decently priced car parking, with one charging station for electric cars. Locked bike parking too.

    The location was perfect, just a short walk to reach the many Restaurants & bars that Valkenburg has to offer. The hotel had a warm & welcoming feeling & the staff were very friendly & helpful. Our room was quiet, clean & comfortable & the hotel provided a good selection of food from a buffet style breakfast. Secure parking was available at a reasonable cost.
