Everything! Being in the middle of the vineyard. The stars above - as if you’re the only 2 pple in the world. the place is small, but really really cozy. Kirk is an amazing host, as is Pepe. Loved the wine tasting, dinner was perfect. didn’t fire up the grill but the stove served well. oh and the hot tub… finally fulfilled my dream of soaking in a hot tub in the middle of a vineyard with a glass of Pinot in hand. oh and the perfect sunset and sunrise too.. everything was fuss free, and perfect. would highly recommend- either as a quick getaway from Christchurch or if ur looking to break up a long drive from Tekapo to Blenheim/Kaikoura - as was what we did!

    We enjoyed a nice dinner and found the room very comfortable. The staff were great and took special care to have us park our motorcycles safely in the Hotel's parking lot. We would stay here again.

    Easy parking, easy to find, close to food places, the spacing of units meant you didn’t feel like you were looking into next one. The food scraps got fed to animals. Heater in shower was nice.

    Very easy to find, just what we needed. Hosts were very pleasant, unable to meet us when we arrived but made sure everything was ready for us and then made a point of greeting us in the morning to check everything was ok. Great parking availability.

    Nicely refurbished older hotel has turned it into a very good up to date hotel with quality rooms, a very good restaurant and garden bar. Parking area out back is well lit with security cameras. Meals are excellent quality, range and size. Staff go out of their way to help with friendly service.
