The place was beautifully designed and clean. It had everything we needed during our stay. A very good continental breakfast was provided. Only 7 mins drive to town for food, very convenient location. Rose gave us a farm tour after we arrived. She was such a cheerful person, and very patient to my kids. She has two very loving dogs and my kids loved them. We had a Wonderful stay! Would highly recommend this place to everyone.

The Riverstone is Canterbury's only 5-star motel (awarded by Qualmark - the official NZ tourism quality assurance organisation).

The owners, Mike and Charlotte, were fantastic. We had good comms from the start as we didn't arrive till 2 days after the booking..Nothing was a problem for them and they were so flexible. They are a credit to their business. I just wished I could have stayed longer it was fabulously clean and in an excellent location. I would thoroughly recommend staying here if you are in this area. Thank you for making our stay very comfortable , and I hope to see you again next year.

The breakfast had loads of fresh fruits and diverse options to pick from, and everything was presented so well. I also absolutely loved the flowers/gardens around the location. Great for a short stroll in the afternoon. The bed was so comfortable, and the room was cozy while also being spacious. The view and natural light in the room also added to the coziness. I honestly regret not being able to stay longer than a single night because I slept so well. Last but certainly not least, the owner was warm and inviting. She seemed to genuinely care about the quality of the stay for her guests and was just a pleasure to chat with in general.

I've been here before and came back for a second time. Loved it as usual. If you're a sucker for showers, this is the place to go. The pressure is fantastic, the open plan bathroom is great, and the overhead jets are the best. The beds are big and comfy, and the living room is cozy The hosts are great and very welcoming.
