Awesome place, tends, food, and experience, made possible by the people working there. Ibrahim, the manager, wasn’t just kind, but he supported us with the rest of our trip in Oman. Said, the driver, impressive as well. The guys supporting with the accomodation and the food super kind. We couldn’t recommend more the place and this team. The place is beautiful during the night. The bedouins that run this rather new camp are super cute and friendly and make sure that you have an unforgettable experience. The location is just north of Bidiyya, so not in the main part of the Wahiba desert as we expected. The dunes around the camp are beautiful and worthwhile nevertheless, and the quiet and hospitality of the hosts combined with the excellent price make for an excellent experience. Plus you can go and see the Wahiba desert on the other side of town during the day; it's only a few minutes of driving away. The tents and beds are excellent and the private bathrooms are even a bit too luxurious for our needs; definitely unexpected for that price. The hosts readily share their experiences and stories around the campfire at night during the tea they serve after dinner.

It was easy to find the meeting point, where you can leave your car in the shadow (if it’s not 4x4) and easy to contact Rashid or his daughter, they both speak good English and reply fast. Rashid took us to the camp in his car and the ride itself was incredible, as the camp is located deep in the desert (and as budget travelers we enjoyed that the price for the transfer was a bit lower than in many other camps). Inside the camp you can’t ask for more, the tent is really spacious and nicely decorated, there are these little details as some spare chairs in the tent and outside too, so you can enjoy the views from the terrace, big fresh clean towels, additional blankets if you feel cold during the night and the bed itself is extremely comfortable! There is a private bathroom in the tent, which is impeccable, even for taking the shower, the water pressure is fine. The location of the camp is really perfect, as we made a big research before booking it and in the end stayed completely satisfied. Perfect spot for photographers, as you can’t see other camps around (except for one, but pretty far away) and the dunes are just right there. Rashid is a great man and treats his guests as friends, he can make you a good company and feels if you want to stay alone. During our stay we were offered fruits, coffee, tea and some other snacks, that we didn’t expect. And the fire in the night was just great. Highly recommend to stay for at least 2 days.

The camp is located inside the desert and requires a 4x4 to access. The site is magical and the tents are luxurious and well appointed. The experiences are also very apt and engaging - dune bashing, camel rides and gazing at starry skies while listening to the owner tell you stories of life in Oman. The staff was also extremely helpful. Overall a night that will be etched in our memories for ever.

So nice small beduin camp, beds were so comfortable, dinner was very delicious, and we have water, tea, coffe and dates available all the time. Pick up and drop off from the meeting location was with no extra charge, and it is only 10 mins drive in the desert. You can easily climb the dunes around. Said is very friendly, he explained us so much about the beduin life, desert and also showed us the stars and name them!

    Rashid was very friendly and helpful wanting to make sure his guests were all happy, we couldn’t find the meeting place in Bidiyah and he sent someone to find us and take us to the camp. Location was just what we hoped for in the sand dunes and tent spacious and clean, lovely big comfortable bed. Plenty of food for breakfast and dinner, as we were late arriving Rashid faves us a little taste of dune bashing on our way back to the car park.
