Janice and Gelt are just wonderful Host's. The Stonehouse they built is a beautiful piece of architecture. Very unique build and interior design, with all the facilities one needs. The view is a dream! Overlooking the ocean including Mantigue Island or you look behind and see the beautiful forest. You are up in the Mountain so the only thing you hear is nature, far away from the traffic noise. The food they cook is absolutely delicious with organic ingredients from their land. The food is so good I think I gained a couple of kg's 😋 but the best is just the absolutely wonderful Host's that they are. Very interesting humans to talk to and spend time with (if you choose too, they are very respectful of your privacy). They helped us out with everything they could. I would give a 100 stars but I can only give 10 😊 we loved meeting you guys, thank you for everything, till next time. Jordan and Barbara

Very nice place to stay and relax.Oufcourse the garden was 10/10 !!!Really like paradise.the room was cool and everything you need was inside.I really had some good sleeps.The internet connection was great expect 19:00 until 21:00 maybe because of starlink position but all day was great .Phillipines accommodation has big problem with fast internet.Staff were nice and helpful ,value for money cottage in a beautiful and virgin island.Hope to stay like that .Also everything was close (boat to white beach,restaurants).You can rent a scooter (you ll need that)

Our stay at Balihao was the highlight of our stay in the Philippines: the luxurious villa with a private pool, the restaurant (one of the best meals we had in the Philippines), the breathtaking view, the overall atmosphere... Honestly, we hesitated at first because there weren't that many reviews, but we are so glad we came. We stayed for 4 nights but decided to extend our stay because we loved it so much.
