Looks even better in real life :) The hosts are super accommodating. Excellent hotel in a very good location, with fantastic views and a lovely garden on the rooftop. The infinity pool looked great but unfortunately we couldn't use it because it was too cold during our visit.The hotel has few restaurants, each one has a different menu and we loved them all. Very good and varied breakfast. The service of the staff was extraordinary!

The hotel in Jardim do Mar has apartments with fully equipped kitchens, more suitable for couples or families for 2 or more nights. The room I have is huge with two large beds, a large bathroom and of course the kitchen. The lady at reception is very helpful and friendly and there is also a dinner buffet (excluding drinks) for 20 euros, with a choice of chicken, meat and fish, plus salads and desserts. The location is perfect for those who like to hike. The place seems to have been around for a while, as you can see from the 80s? 90's? deco. There is a cottage-style common room with sofas and a small library. The beautiful footpath PR Vereda Prazeres to Paul do Mar (700m, 1.80km) is right on the hotel grounds and is a great way to visit the small fishing village of Paul do Mar. Unfortunately, the weather was at its worst when I was there, but of the few hours of sunshine I did get, the view from the balcony was simply stunning.

    We loved every minute of our stay. The property is great, in a prime location, finished to a very high standard. It has everything we needed as a family, nice clean rooms, two bathrooms with showers, very well equipped kitchen, lovely patio with outdoor kitchenette and BBQ station, laundry room, good WiFi and onsite parking. Just perfect!

    Quinta das Vinhas is honestly amazing!! My only regret was not booking another night. The pool areas are magnificent and strolling through the vineyard was magic. The breakfast was the best I had during my stay in Madeira. I note that you really do need a car to get here and be a reasonably confident driver to access their offstreet parking. Overall, this is a really beautiful spot, perfect for couples or groups. We had a great stay. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
