location wonderful (quiet, peaceful, though often quite windy, great views over the lake), large sandy beach area within very short walking distance, both of the little houses (the bedroom cabin and the main house) are well equipped (includes good wooden outdoor furniture), row boat a big plus though steps down to the lake a bit treacherous/tricky. Hopefully the second boat will soon be available again to facilitate that both parties (ours and the neighboring bigger cabin) could use a boat for fishing or outings at the same time.

Absolutely beautiful house in an even more beautiful location, couldn’t recommend it more for a pewacfuk trip!

The host was flexible and available. Everything went smooth and the best value price/comfort. It is accessible by bus and just 10 min from the Central Station with bus 150! I would reccomend this over any hotel in Borås!

Amazing place, the pictures before we arrived did not do justice to what we got when we arrived. Food, atmosphere, large rooms and staff. Only the best recommendations and we will definitely plan when we can come back again.

Built in 1911 and renovated with many of the original features carefully retained, the Grand Hotel in Alingsås is conveniently situated within 100 metres of the Alingsås train station.
