Staying at Hotel Amanda felt like stepping into a scene from One Thousand and One Nights. From the moment we arrived, we were swept away into a world of elegance, charm, and quiet luxury. The architecture and decor whispered stories of distant lands and ancient beauty, with every corner more enchanting than the last. Our room — or should I say palace suite — was larger than the average home in Amsterdam, with soaring ceilings, rich fabrics, and soft lighting that made the entire space feel like a private fairytale. The pool was a sparkling oasis, especially in the golden glow of the afternoon sun. We spent hours there, floating under the sky and forgetting the outside world. The breakfast each morning was a royal feast, with fresh fruits, pastries, and local delicacies presented with care and warmth. But what truly sets Hotel Amanda apart is the service. Every staff member treated us not as guests, but as honored friends. Thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely kind — it’s rare to feel so seen and so welcome. Loft meaning living room is on the first floor and the bed on the second floor. Ample space. Decentralized aircon units per room. Service was excellent. Requests such as extra pillows, water etc were met quickly.

One of the best hostels in Taiwan. All the staff are kind, friendly, and laid-back. The host J shared a bunch of local recommendations with me, and I enjoyed our morning chats at the coffee shop :) They also run a bar in the same building, and even as a solo traveller, I felt comfortable spending time there because the bartenders were warm and welcoming. And of course their original cocktails were great too! My fav was 貴妃挽茶 (Imperial Concubine Yang).

This was the best accommodation we stayed on our Taiwan trip. The hosts are incredibly friendly. From the very first minute we felt like home. The room was spacious and clean and had a small balcony. The bed was comfortable and the AC + bathroom were modern and well maintained. The hosts were so helpful, lovely and even picked us up on a Sunday to show us around the coast. We also rented electric scooters during our stay and the hosts supported us with translations and explanations on the rental. They even speak a bit English which is absolutely helpful for check in and everything you need to know. We stayed in about 30+ hotels across Asia now and this is one of the best on the list. The hosts really make your trip to Kenting special. Their hospitality is outstanding. Definitely recommend this hotel for everyone!

Location is very good - hotel is located near the night market. The walk from hotel to the beach is about 10minutes. Room was very clean and nice. Owner of hotel was very nice and helpful! Really recommend this place!!
