We loved our stay in Kendwa Carletto Style. The bungalow was clean and spacious with a nice patio for relaxing with a book. The staff are really helpful and added little details to make our stay extra special. It was nice to get a feel for the locality on the short walk to the beach. At low tide you can walk over and back between Kendwa and Nungwi. If the tide comes in you can take a short taxi ride or water taxi. There is a really nice Italian restaurant with delicious cocktails on Nungwi beach. Can't remember the name but it's up some wooden steps, right beside the Mama Mia ice cream parlour(not the one at Kendwa Rocks)

This is by far the best resort in Zanzibar, everything was beyond our expectations. The beach and the views are absolutely incredible, very rich breakfast, extremely delicious food, very clean and luxurious villa and everything is TOP!!! The fire on the beach at sunset is brilliant and we felt very safe, the staff is really doing their best. Your only regret will be when you leave. PS: we really loved yoga with Claudia

food was absolutely exceptional. Kai, the Chef is really amazing. it was as if, everyday, we were invited in a "gastronomique restaurant", buffets were gorgeous, different each day, very delicate and tasty. He is really exceptional, and we did not expect such a wonderful food experience. staff is friendly, helpful, thanks to the General Manager , Tuan , who is everywhere and always there to make our stay an incredible experience. He has been very attentive to us all the time during our stay, as well as Anthony, his F&B manager. good singers in the evening, during dinner. although the hotel has 76 rooms, the staff makes you feel "at home" with a very personal and professional approach. Aisha at the reception was of great help. beach is very beautiful, you can swim there, unlike in the East Coast where we stayed before. see is "turquoise". there are plenty of room and deck chairs for everyone to rest , we did not use the swimming pool as we prefer to take advantage of the sea , but it is very large. we hope to be back in this wonderful place, where we stayed only 3 nights, it was not enough to enjoy the place, and the marvellous huge beach of white sand . (if you like to walk, turn left, you will see a small and charming "port" and the sea is more "turquoise" than in any other place.

Kendwa Rocks is a beautiful place to go and relax the view is amazing.you can not get used to it! There is so much to do. The food is really good and the stuff is very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to recommending and also going back there soon.

The room at our accommodation was exceptionally well-equipped, and the view from our balcony was truly awe-inspiring. We were pleased to find that the room was cleaned daily, and the attentive staff made us feel right at home throughout our stay. The water pressure in the shower exceeded our expectations and was the best we have experienced in Africa. We had no issues with hot water, ensuring refreshing showers at all times. Additionally, the breakfast was included in our package. It is worth mentioning that each day, we were treated to a different and diverse selection of breakfast options, surpassing even the offerings of some resorts. Although dinner was not included, the prices were remarkably affordable. Having a lacto-ovo-vegetarian diet, we were pleasantly surprised by the menu's ability to cater to our needs and provide satisfying meals. The chef's expertise in preparing the food was evident, as every dish was incredibly delicious. We would also like to commend Alex, our host, and Dulla, our waiter, for their extensive experience with tourists. They were always available to provide valuable information and assist in organizing excursions.
