It's a beautiful property right on the creek. It had everything you need in the kitchen and it was comfortable. We enjoyed building a fire in the fireplace. We missed the elk that came thru so we'd like to come back to see them next time!

I enjoyed my stay very much in this beautiful historic house in Golden. The owners were very friendly, welcoming, and down-to-earth, and it’s clear they take great pride in keeping both the house and the grounds in excellent condition. The highlights for me were the opportunity to talk about the property and history of Golden with the owners and others staying and the home-cooked breakfast and the baked treats — the muffin I had one morning was amazing. Access was easy, and the property is just a short walk to Golden’s Main Street. The town itself is small, clean, safe, and very pleasant to explore.

Jeff and his two adorable cats were great hosts. (The cats aren't allowed in the room, but they will happily greet you at the entrance.) The location is perfect for hikers and Red Rocks enthusiasts. The bedding and towels are among the softest I've run across in decades of traveling. The kitchenette is perfect for folks on the go, and is very well stocked for tea and coffee lovers. WIfi and TV options were good, too. Thanks, Jeff!
