Staff was very friendly, breakfast was good, and the location was great with just 5 min to the lake by bike.

Most rooms have a balcony. We LOVED this property and the experience of staying here. The staff was friendly and accomodating and everything was clean. We had breakfast and dinner daily and the meals were PHENOMENAL! There was so much food and all of it was amazing! This property is located in a very convenient location to everything offered and our room had a wonderful view from a patio.

Fürstenhaus Am Achensee is a 4-star superior hotel located right on the shore of Lake Achen, offering panoramic views of the Alps. The 3,000 m² spa area features indoor and outdoor pools with mountain views, various massage showers, and a large hot tub right above the lake. The hotel had an amazing setting, with views of the mountains on one side, and Lake Achensee on the other. The staff are very curtious and helpful and we were met with a welcoming glass of Prosecco. The room was clean and spacious with a balcony looking out to the mountains. The bed was very comfortable as was the rest of the bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast was superb, with a short order chef working the omelette station, and plenty of choice of cold cuts, cheeses etc. There is a spa though with only one night, we did not have time to try it, though the outdoor pool, which is linked to the indoor pool, did look very inviting. The hotel also benefits from a large underground car park. We would be happy recommend this hotel to any future guests, and hope to return ourselves one day.

What a great place! Next level apartments. Feels like home. It was really great. The accomodation is very well thought through in details, and also: nicely designed information booklets with activities (you can find that on the website, looks really nice!), hiking information booklets in the apartment upon arrival. All in all a great stay, very close to the beautiful lake and closely cable cars. We took the Rofan one in Maurach (short drive) and had a great time up in the mountains. Panoramic views to dream of! And of course the hiking route along the Achensee, recommended and also good available with a dog. We will definitely come back if we go to the Achensee again!

The space was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully arranged — perfect for relaxing as a family. The view was lovely, and everything felt peaceful and welcoming. Martina was an exceptional host — kind, attentive, and truly went above and beyond. She even gifted my wife a delicious homemade strawberry jam, which was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. It made us feel truly cared for. We had a great time with my wife and our three children. Everything was smooth from start to finish, and we made beautiful memories. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and charming getaway.
