The rooms and suites are located over two wings of Oval Hotel at Adelaide Oval and offer expansive views of the surrounding parklands, with their rolling green lawns and giant Moreton Bay fig trees. Valet car parking and self-parking options are available. The room was immaculate with attention to all details. The wet bar and bathroom were stocked with the appropriate amenities. The coolest thing was the blinds closing after we left and opening automatically when we came back into the room. We had a great view of the old church and the park which was very nice. The location was walkable to the mall and train station, which was also a plus. The view of the Oval from the restaurant and bar was great, too.

Set in Willunga and only 42 km from The Beachouse, Willunga Gallery Cabins offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Housed in a building dating from 2023, this bed and breakfast is 44 km from Adelaide Parklands Terminal and 47 km from Victoria Square. Guests can access the bed and breakfast via private entrance. cabin was well appointed with everything we needed during our stay. The bed was comfy, and the Wi-Fi worked great. Irene have provided fresh baked goods and everything we needed for a breakfast. Having a designated parking space was great. Located right on the main street we were able to walk to shops and resturants.

Situated in Littlehampton, in a historic building, 32 km from Big Rocking Horse, Tara Stables is a chalet with a garden and bar. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation features a patio. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Fabulous property with plenty of space, all amenities you might need, including washer and a nice vinyl record player (!). But most of all we liked that this property had such a lot of character. I personally felt at home immediately. Nice furniture, books, TV and even a Leonard Cohen record for the vinyl player in the lounge area :-) Being greeted with a loaf of fresh bread and a hand written notice from the owners was the icing on the cake. Really outstanding! On top of it all, the place is pet friendly and allowed us to take our dog along.
