The views were breathtaking from our balcony room and the location was convenient for exploring the area. There is a bus that is only a 3 min walk away that leaves every 1/2 hour or it’s about a 20 min walk from town. The room was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

We had great experience with the host, the place was very cosy and comfortable, the location was quite easy to reach. The breakfast served was full of options. We really enjoyed our stay there, though quite short, would love to come back again one day!

The hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and lies 100m above the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery. It also features a unique spa area in the goats' stable. We like everything about this place, it’s away from the city, the view is spectacular, staffs are very good, food are amazing! Built in the 1890s, this historic hotel was one of the first hotels in Lauterbrunnen. The family-run Hotel Staubbach offers panoramic views of the Staubbach Falls and Lauterbrunnen Valley. It is located 600 metres from the Lauterbrunnen station and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. Our stay was perfect! The room we were staying at had a balcony facing the entrance to the hotel, with the windows closed, we could not hear any noise from outside. The breakfast was very good, quite an extensive spread. Some plus points, there are some guests lounge, with lots of teas and coffees, which we could also take up to our room. Also, a fully equipped “picnic room”, where we can have our take out food, and even a microwave oven to heat up the food. The picnic room is very cosy, and looks so pretty too! There was no TV in the room, but there’s one in one of the guests lounge.

Check-in and check-out were very fast and smooth. The staff were very friendly. The room was very clean. The breakfast was delicious. The internet speed was excellent. My family and I were satisfied. Centrally-located modern hotel lined with yellow balconies, opposite the Interlaken West Train Station with links to the Jungfrau Ski Area. Modern guestrooms are decorated in light colours with patterned fabrics; all include satellite televisions and balconies and free WiFi. Very friendly receptionist who gave us a detailed rundown of what to do in the town. Good breakfast with nice hot and cold selection. Close to interlaken west train station
