Hotel Calamari Baru has a private beach area, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Playa Blanca. Built in 2019, the property is within a few steps of Playa Blanca. The accommodation offers room service, a concierge service and organising tours for guests. The place is located just in front of the beach. I stayed there only one night. The room was like in the photos, the food was delicious, and the staff was helpful. The pick-up and drop-off by taxi went smoothly. I enjoyed my stay. It was not noisy as indicated in the other reviews. The only sound I heard was the waves' sound. Just a little note, all these hotels are located at the beach. There is no car access; if you do not want to carry your luggage after the taxi drops you, you need to request a carrier that costs 20.000 COP (or you can request the boat shuttle, cheaper than a taxi, faster, and drops you off in front of the hotel at the beach, but your luggage and yourself can get wet :) )

At the hotel, rooms have a balcony. The rooms at Hotel Las Islas have air conditioning and a desk. Fantastic beach resort. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Breakfast was fantastic and dinners were nice. The bar has great vistas and on the roof there is a telescope so I got to see Saturn and its rings. Rooms have those Japanese automatic toilets which I had never experienced before.

We spent a whole week there and didn’t want to leave. The place is beautiful and well kept up. The pool was refreshing, with comfortable loungers. Judith, the cook and housekeeper provided excellent service and delicious food and cocktails. We had the big room on the second floor with the spacious private deck and loungers.

Orika del Mar Hotel features a garden, private beach area, a terrace and restaurant in Isla Grande. Offering a bar, the property is located within a few steps of Pasadía Bora Bora Cartagena Beach. Providing free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking hotel has a spa centre and karaoke. We had our own bungalow, large clean and simple, with palm leave roof. With a mosquito net on the beds and several fans, which are sufficient to the job. The staff has been amazing, all locals people so kind and professional. We have eaten at the hotel restaurant several times, and it is one of the best place of the island. And the location is fantastic, the beautiful view from the terrace as in the pictures. The courtesy tour by boat is a very nice welcome and we also did some of the activities you can purchase. We highly recommend the snorkeling because you can see the living and colorful corals and fishes, and the luminescent plankton. The hotel is a quite one, with no music, as there is enough elsewhere, you can go in 10 minutes to other party hotels or, as we did, in the village to have a more authentic experience.
