All of the staff were friendly and happy to help. The breakfast and evening meal were both delicious and the bar/restaurant made for a cosy retreat from the grey, February weather.

The George Hotel's historic exterior hides modern interiors and facilities. I’ve stayed at The George many times and cannot fault any aspect of the hotel. The rooms are fabulous, clean, & superbly appointed. The staff are amazing, friendly, helpful, with customer service at the forefront. The breakfast is amazing, and I can’t think of a better place to stay. Brilliant service and fabulous value for money. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

This recently renovated bed and breakfast is located 27 km from Newton Abbot Racecourse and 14 km from Powderham Castle. Riviera International Centre is 38 km from the bed and breakfast and Totnes Castle is 44 km away. Location was perfect for us, on a nice quiet street with good parking, just steps away from the University campus. Owner friendly, flexible and fast to address all of our requests. The property is an old traditional house, preserving a lot of features. Room very spacious and decorated in line with the period of the house and well kitted with everything, including a mini-fridge and a mobile heater. Good internet! Very big bathroom, fitted with both shower and bathtub and with a generous selection of lotions and bath soaks. The breakfast had a good variety of food, a cold-buffet type, with a range of teas and coffees. All self-serving, just make-your-own.

Excellent view of the harbour from our room. The cottage is 700+ years old and may be the oldest in the village. The host was lovely and accommodating. She made us a good full English breakfast. Sooo quiet and peaceful with no cars in the village. The other guests were lovely -- all hikers walking the SW coast path.

Bull Point Lighthouse is 28 km from the homestay and Ashbury Golf Club is 50 km away. Good information prior to visit. On arrival, we were given a warm welcome from the owner. Our room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated with everything required for our stay.. Had a great nights sleep, the bed was lovely and comfy. Good parking facilities. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again!

Fantastic location - pleasantly situated opposite a park, but within walking distance of town centre and all amenities. Also, I was able to wash and dry my clothes.

We had a large room in the newly completed 'stable' wing, fitted out to a very high standard. The breakfasts were amazing, especially the Overnight Oats with fruit compote. We didn't need any lunch after our Ley Arms breakfasts!
