Tynycornel was a well-known fishing hostelry as early as 1800 and guests enjoy priority access to Tal-y-Llyn's prized waters, together with fine river fishing. The location of the hotel was amazing, so picturesque. There are hiking trails close by or if you wish to be more laid back you can chill by the lake or in the community area of the hotel. I wish we stayed longer.

It's a smallish building but many people were there for dinner, so it felt lively and was very welcoming. We arrived late-ish (8pm) and were pleasantly surprised that dinner was served (on a Thursday) until 9pm. Everyone who worked there and was a patron were very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night and had to leave early, but the room was clean and comfortable and loved the charm of the pub next to the church.

Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The apartment features family rooms. This was a perfect Friday night get away. The hot tub was great. The toilet and showering facilities were separate to the cabin which was really nice. Communication with the host before our stay was fantastic. Would definitely be visiting again.

The room was very comfortable, great bed. The bathroom too was well designed and modern. Strong shower in particular. The breakfast was alright. The staff were so friendly and kind, I only wish someone had been knowledgeable enough to give me more recommendations about what to do in the area besides the obvious things.

You definitely need more than one night in this cozy little Wigwam—it was absolutely worth it. The view is stunning, and I loved the low-lying fog in the morning while sipping tea and dunking my Welsh cakes. Everything felt very clean, and the bedding smelled fresh. There’s no WiFi, so try to unplug and stay off your phone—though I didn’t do the best job of that. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated them accommodating me with an extra 30 minutes. I 100% recommend it. My only regret is not staying longer.

Great location with helpful binder of local attractions and food options. Quaint in a good way - clean, comfy, and excellent value. It looked just like the pictures in the listing. We had great weather so we ate out front and people-watched which was fun - for us and, seemingly, the locals.
