The transport system in Greece can be a bit confusing if its your first time. The staff was very supportive and informed us well in advance about the public transportation options to get to the hostel. Even though the last check-in time was 23:00, they waited for us until midnight as our bus was late and we got there at around 24:00. Next day after checkout they also kept our bags so we can explore the city and the monastries freely without any burden. We picked our bags in the evening before going to take the bus. There is a huge chilling area downstairs to hang around. The staff was very supportive throughout our stay and we were very happy with our stay. :-)

Pyrgos Adrachti Hotel is just 1 km away from Kalambaka and within a short drive of the 6 monasteries and plenty of restaurants. A spacious free private parking is available in the premises. The view is to die for! We loved it so much 🥰. We will definitely choose the same accommodation if we visit Meteora again. The owner is very nice and helpful , he gave us useful information about the monasteries and local restaurants. We really recommend this accommodation if you want to experience the magic of the area. The room is very comfortable and authentic , we especially loved the floors and the ceiling. The cats are also very cute 😍.

The stone-built hotel offers tastefully furnished rooms with views of Meteora, the mountains or the garden. Each of the spacious rooms is en suite and includes hairdryer. It's hard to describe this hotel. Everything about it is perfect. The rooms are incredible, the staff is wonderfully helpful, the parking lot is a lifesaver if you're coming by car, the location is perfect (directly between the two towns), the rooms were spacious and the bed was massive and so comfortable, and the view from the Meteora-facing rooms is absolutely spectacular. I could have sat out on that balcony all day. The breakfast they have there is also just amazing. They have homemade jams and cakes and their bacon and eggs are fantastic. The only downside of this place was that we had to leave. This is the only hotel I will consider staying at if I ever go back to Meteora. It was just that wonderful.

On Monastiri’s ground floor, guests will find a lounge bar with fireplace and an internet corner with free wired and wireless access. Other facilities include a large garden with panoramic Meteora views, as well as free parking. This is one of the few places where the people from the reception (after finishing the check-in process) provided a map with the places nearby and ways to get there. The place is really beautiful, we didn’t have a chance to stay at the pool (we had a tour booked from afternoon till late evening). The room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed.
