One of the highlights of my stay was the elephant safari organized by the hotel in the Kaziranga National Park. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, allowing me to witness the incredible wildlife in their natural habitat. The hotel's thoughtful arrangements made the safari convenient and memorable. This is easily one of the best accommodation experiences I have had in the world and I've traveled to over 40 countries. My husband and I planed to stay for three nights and we extended two more nights. Our room was clean, spacious, and had a great atmosphere. It felt really cozy as soon as we walked in. Also, we had a little patio right outside of our room where we would worked and drank tea when we were not doing safaris. The food was AWESOME - we ordered smoked pork curry, smoked pork fried rice, pasta with red sauce and white sauce, dal fry, boiled veggies. Everything was just delicious all the time and it came with a very good serving too. You don't want to miss the breakfast either. My husband usually didn't care about getting up early for breakfast but he did for Nature Hunt's breakfast. ALSO, the most important of all for us, was that the manager, Aovick, and all the assistants and servers WERE INCREDIBLE! We arrived really late the first night, and Aovick thought ahead and ordered dinner for us so we were welcomed by tasty, warm food. Aovick was just such a warm-hearted, funny, helpful, thoughtful person. He is both professional and accommodating. He asked someone to picked us up at the highway late at night, he let us extend within a short notice, he arranged safaris for us, he asked someone to wave down a van to go to Jorhat on the highway with us, he asked if we wanted to join other guests at the campfire. He thought of our needs before we did. All the staff was also all really friendly all the time and were always there to help. It was always so pleasant to interact with them.

The 3 brothers Adi, Ritu and Madhu and their 2 small cousins did an outstanding job to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The home cooked breakfast was awesome making us want more. The rooms were clean and good value for money. Would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and acquaintances.

Vegetarian and halal options can also be requested. We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our time in Habitas Rhino. The food is really tasty (I loved the local morela juice and pickles), the rooms comfortable, and it’s a great location - close to safari and to the Orchid park where you can watch really nice performances in the evening. The Nature trail is absolutely amazing! We went for both sunset and sunrise, for bird watching (thanks Aluwin!) and it was one of the biggest highlights of the entire trip to Assam and Meghalaya. So calm and picturesque! The staff is also great, very welcoming.

Prahbat and sundanza just give you a warm welcome and make you feel at home. They invited me to a community party during Bihu, the national festival of Assam. Also an ideal place to wander through the village, surrounded by tea plantations and lush green hills. Definitely to recommend!

We visited Kaziranga National Park four times over two days. Rishav arranged our four safaris and car and driver. Everything work perfectly. The homestay is indeed a home stay - we met his family and enjoyed home cooked meals. The accommodations are large, quiet, comfortable, clean and safe. The food was delicious. Rishav communicates promptly and clearly using WhatsApp. We highly recommend the Nahorjan Tea Homestay.
