Good food (we had a la carte) and great staff at reception and restaurants. Especially Sayand was very friendly! We also really enjoyed the complimentary nature walk and the different activities (table tennis, board games, etc.). They also helped us organise transport and other activities around the area.

Wayanad Wild is designed as a rainforest lodge, aimed at offering our guests an off-the-grid experience amidst the wilderness. Guests are requested to contact the property in advance to arrange transfers from the car parking area to the property. Kindly reach our parking facility at Lakkidi no later than 1800 hrs, as transfers after 1800 hrs are not encouraged due to wild animal movements in the area. We recommend carrying a pair of light trekking shoes for outdoor activities, insect repellent spray, and clothing suitable for the weather. Its set in the forest with some fun hiking options. They have a pool of naturalists that guide you on the local fauna. The food options are limited but fine well. They have focused on eco friendly products and reducing wastage. My baby had a medical emergency and the staff was extremely professional and helpful in getting her to the hospital and calming us down. We had a wonderful stay in the resort. The view is amazing from the lodges/rooms. A special thanks to Thomas who helped us the whole time in the hotel and to prepare some excursions. This is a great spot to be based for visiting the area. This was part of our honeymoon trip and we had some most appreciated special treatment.
