The additional bathroom was a massive bonus when travelling as a family, The hosts were really welcoming and provided us with lots of useful information and tips for great places to visit that we wouldn't have found ourselves. There were two restaurants and a bar within easy walking distance, plus a small supermarket selling lots of essential practically next door.

The main house is extraordinary as it is like walking into a renaissance dream, filled with local antiques and paintings, groomed trees and a beautiful fountain at the front. Our room was gorgous - from the big bed head, to the classic furniture, the modern marble bathroom, and the heavy curtains - I loved everything about it. The host is lovely, very personable and friendly, full of advice on how to spend the day, what are the must-sees of the area, and excellent restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was delicious - a selection of meats and cheeses, dips, eggs, fresh baked goods and breads, yoghurts, musli and fruit. Very satisfying. This gorgeous place is a must for that true old Italian vibe. We highly recommend staying here.
