Clean and safe hostel with an amazing and very helpful host. I ran into self-induced troubles and was helped out graciously. Had a wonderful sleep and a nourishing breakfast that was included in the very affordable price. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll stay here for sure!

Rénové en 2016, le Shima Kanko Hotel The Classic a accueilli le sommet du G7 à Ise-Shima de 2016. Il se situe dans le Parc national d'Ise-Shima et surplombe la Baie d'Ago sur la célèbre Côte de Rias. From the moment you enter the lobby, you know you’re somewhere grand. The reception from the staff is top notch. The lobby is beautiful with stunning floral displays. The staff are incredibly polite and helpful. Always smiling even when they’re working very hard, and they do a lot of that. Our room, 536, was a corner room with incredible views out two sides.The breakfast buffet, even for a strict vegetarian, was delicious. The lounge on the second floor had completely beverages and snacks, both sweet and savoury, all day long. Excellent bonus. You are also permitted to use their other hotel lounge which is a few minute walk away, on the fifth floor, with stunning 360 degree views.
