They might not be super fancy, but for the price (especially compared to other places in the area), they’re genuinely such a good find. The location is peaceful, and the setting has a really nice, natural feel to it. But what made the experience even better was the friendly and helpful staff – everyone we spoke to was kind and welcoming, which added such a nice touch to the stay. If you’re looking for a solid, no-fuss place that still feels well cared for and has a bit of charm, Woodnest is definitely worth it. Can u change this a little

Jazz, Miska and the rest of the crew are just amazing, taking care of everything you might need. They invited me for dinner making me feel part of their family immediately. We played cards together and created a very friendly atmosphere. I had to stay one day more than planned, as it was amazing there!

Super location, staff was wonderful and the food good.

Whisky Point Resort was absolutely amazing! It was a five star experience from the moment we arrived. The Resort is breathtaking and the privat beach and cabanas are so beautiful and clean. The staff was absolutely exceptional. They were so friendly helpful and professional. We extended the stay because we loved it so much! The Owners are very thoughtful and organise trips for exaple lagoon safari which was great! We are definitely planing on coming again!

Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

Stay Golden has been one of our favourite stays of our entire time in Sri Lanka. Beautiful bungalows/apartments, the sweetest staff (our kids still miss them) and delicous and healthy food available from 8 AM until 9 PM. What we really liked was that there were always several families staying here and that the owners was also pretty much always around with their family, it created a nice and homely vibe in which we felt very welcome. Big thanks to Rihan and Angie and we hope to visit again some day!

Riz, Amin, Fazi were the nicest people we have met. Every conversation with Riz was very funny, heartfelt, we could discuss so many topics, interacting with him was a pleasure every time. Not only are they avid Uno Players (😁), they are also amazing cooks and kind souls. We absolutely enjoyed every centimeter of the hotel, the room itself was clean, spacious, lovely bed to sleep in, bathroom had everything we needed. When asked, we were given extra toilet paper, towels, bedsheets, moscito repellents. We even asked to close a bathroom vent and it was immediately sealed. There are two chairs with a table outside as well as a drying rack. The room was very soundproof, the AC was amazing. The downstairs breakfast as well as chill out lounge area downstaris was amazing, comfortable, spacious, mosquito free and a spot where we loved to spend our free time. The breakfast was a dream, they have tea, coffee, juices etc. My friend preferred to eat eggs and there were many different options for her, I more so wanted something sweet and there were also a lot of options for me. The smoothie bowls were fantastic and the chocolate banana rotti were amazing!!The advice the advice that they gave us about surfing, beach, safari and organizing tuktuk drives as well as the drive to and from Arugam Bay was done with patience, kindness and true clarity. I truly believe that this was the best stay on our 1 month trip to Sri Lanka, not only are we never forget and forever cherish the memories we made here. We hope to come again because hanging out with Riz, Amin and Fazi was a true delight. Overall one of the best we've ever had and we wish everyone at Oasis Bay the absolute best because they are people that only deserve the absolute best that comes their way.
