One of the best accommodations we had in Sri Lanka. We stayed there for 2 nights but were really sorry we didn't stay longer in the end. The rooms are perfect for someone who wants to enjoy Arugam bay, stay close to all cafes, restaurants, as well as the beach, and still wants some comfort. The accommodation is located on the main street in Arugam Bay but somehow still closed off enough that it remains peaceful. The rooms were clean, bathroom and shower amazing, beds veeeery comfortable and the AC perfect. The curtains keep the light out really well which is great if you like to sleep in in the morning. The hosts are very kind and were constantly asking if we have everything we need. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Arugam Bay!

Super location, staff was wonderful and the food good.

Whisky Point Resort was absolutely amazing! It was a five star experience from the moment we arrived. The Resort is breathtaking and the privat beach and cabanas are so beautiful and clean. The staff was absolutely exceptional. They were so friendly helpful and professional. We extended the stay because we loved it so much! The Owners are very thoughtful and organise trips for exaple lagoon safari which was great! We are definitely planing on coming again!

Beaitiful garden, clean rooms, comfy beds! We loved this small secluded gem! Mohammed and Nasir were the biggest surprise! Very friendly and helpful, even organised a birthday cake for our daughters birthday!!! No problem to big for Mohammed! Surpised us with snacks in the evening and coffee on demand! Will definately recommend!

Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

Stay Golden has been one of our favourite stays of our entire time in Sri Lanka. Beautiful bungalows/apartments, the sweetest staff (our kids still miss them) and delicous and healthy food available from 8 AM until 9 PM. What we really liked was that there were always several families staying here and that the owners was also pretty much always around with their family, it created a nice and homely vibe in which we felt very welcome. Big thanks to Rihan and Angie and we hope to visit again some day!

Oasis Bay - Arugam Bay, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Arugam Bay, 400 metres from Arugam Bay Beach, 4 km from Muhudu Maha Viharaya, as well as 4.5 km from Crocodile Rock. Riz, Amin, Fazi were the nicest people we have met. Every conversation with Riz was very funny, heartfelt, we could discuss so many topics, interacting with him was a pleasure every time. Not only are they avid Uno Players (😁), they are also amazing cooks and kind souls. We absolutely enjoyed every centimeter of the hotel, the room itself was clean, spacious, lovely bed to sleep in, bathroom had everything we needed. When asked, we were given extra toilet paper, towels, bedsheets, moscito repellents. We even asked to close a bathroom vent and it was immediately sealed. There are two chairs with a table outside as well as a drying rack. The room was very soundproof, the AC was amazing. The downstairs breakfast as well as chill out lounge area downstaris was amazing, comfortable, spacious, mosquito free and a spot where we loved to spend our free time. The breakfast was a dream, they have tea, coffee, juices etc. My friend preferred to eat eggs and there were many different options for her, I more so wanted something sweet and there were also a lot of options for me. The smoothie bowls were fantastic and the chocolate banana rotti were amazing!!The advice the advice that they gave us about surfing, beach, safari and organizing tuktuk drives as well as the drive to and from Arugam Bay was done with patience, kindness and true clarity. I truly believe that this was the best stay on our 1 month trip to Sri Lanka, not only are we never forget and forever cherish the memories we made here. We hope to come again because hanging out with Riz, Amin and Fazi was a true delight. Overall one of the best we've ever had and we wish everyone at Oasis Bay the absolute best because they are people that only deserve the absolute best that comes their way. Situated 300 metres from Arugam Bay Beach, Starfish Cabbana offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden. Overall a great place to live near the main street and the beach, but without the noise. The host and team are what makes this place exceptional.
