Kelaat M’Gouna is 50 km away and Ouarzazate Airport is a 30-minute drive away. We LOVED our stay at Kasbah Ait BenHadda, aka "the castle". The super friendly staff, the beautiful rooms, the nice hallways, the fresh swimming pool, the cozy restaurant: all perfect and well taken care of. It felt like a Marrocan fairytale! Would recommend 10/10 to stay here, to relax and enjoy the peace, quiet and have a nice swim!

Located high in the Atlas Mountains, Auberge Le Festival Todra Gorge is an eco-friendly hotel with a hot tub, children’s swimming pool and an organic garden. It was built with natural materials and is a 15-minute drive from Tinghir.

Additional features include bicycle rental, donkey rides and the organisation of desert trekking and climbing. The property offers panoramic views and free private parking on site. Warm and genuinely friendly welcome on arrival with exceptional hospitality provided from the very start. Unique, clean, and comfortable accommodation. Breakfast, and dinner especially, were excellent with music, singing, and dancing as superb live entertainment in the evening. The location is incredible and we went on spectacular hikes through the gorge and then enjoyed the breathtaking view of the stars at night. The staff organised a taxi for us on departure with a friendly driver at a very reasonable price. We cannot thank the team enough for this experience and would recommend to anyone without hesitation. We initially planned to stay one night but added another and would have loved to have stayed longer. Cannot wait to stay again in the future!

This guest house is located in the old village of Ait-Ben-Haddou, a sand fortress 30 km from Ouarzazate. You can relax on the furnished terraces, where the hosts will welcome you with mint tea and Moroccan pastries.

The hosts can help you organise trips and excursions in the area. Public parking is possible at a location nearby. Location was amazing. Arriving at Aït Benhaddou at night, getting brought to the hotel through the paved cobbles of the ksar with our daughter on the back of a donkey (provided by the car park owner) was incredibly special. Aït Benhaddou during the day is full of tourists and tourist shops. At nighttime, when it is empty, it is magic. 360 degree views of the clear night sky and the stars, and being able to climb to the top to meet sunset was magic. A very special and unique hotel, highly recommended.

Hôtel Riad Dar Daïf is located 5 km from the centre of Ouarzazate and has views on the Atlas Mountains and the lake. Its furnished patio overlooks the outdoor swimming pool.

Private parking is also available and free of charge. Staffs are helpful and hospitality. The Riad is sooo beautiful! We enjoyed our stay here so much. The owner even prepared a box of cookies before we left, which can tie us over during our 6-hour drive to Merzouga. Thx a lot! We hope to stay here again.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Heritage House Skoura is a guest house situated in a historic building in Skoura, 700 metres from Kasbah Amridil. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Skoura was the biggest surprise of our trip to Marocco and the Heritage House was the highlight of our experience! Nadja and the baby Ali grated us like family: lots of tea, food, stories and laughter. We spontaneously decided to do the cooking course as well, and it was the best decision ever: the love of Nadja for her culture was immense and still move us to this day. We will surely be back!
