Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport and Port Louis are within a 1-hour drive by car. Car rental is available at the 24-hour front desk and free parking is available. Our aim was visiting the island. Position is perfect for such purpose. If you want to spend your time at the beach of the hotel and enjoy swimming I guess the sea is more attractive in other part of Mauritius. Services, rooms, breakfast, dinner are outstanding. Swimming pool is beautiful. Excellent restaurants are reacheable by car.

We initially booked AHAVAH just because we had an early morning boat tour nearby, but the room was so comfortable and the hosts so welcoming that I wish we could have stayed longer. Ashley was super responsive and helpful from the moment I made the booking, and his entire family is friendly and welcoming. The homemade breakfast was top notch, and they were kind enough to prepare it early so that we could enjoy it before heading out on the boat tour. The facilities were clean and we had everything we could have needed, including a washing machine, mosquito repellent for night (definitely needed), and good wifi. Highly recommend!

We spent a fabulous 6 days at this beautiful property right on the beach. The apartment has a nice cosy feel and the location is perfect with several good restaurants in walking distance. The view from the balcony is to die for, and you just have to go down a few steps to be on the beach. Adeline is an amazing housekeeper. She made us feel at home right away and gave us tips where to buy groceries and to go for dinner. The fresh fruit and milk and water in the fridge were a very nice touch. One day, Adeline cooked a delicious creole curry for us.

The place was very clean and comfortable. Kerstin was such a lovely host and helped us settle in and know other places to get things we needed for our stay like taxis and halal restaurants. We would definitely recommend for any body visiting the eastern side of Mauritius.
