We loved the guesthouse and were very comfortable.The breakfast was delicious, rooms were spacious,clean and beautiful. What a wonderful experience I had staying in this lovely historic house! I had it all to myself. It felt very indulgent. It's full of character, cool and quiet. A true delight. The quirky little nook underneath the house was a real treat. It's incredible value for money and in great location. If you're driving there, be prepared to navigate some of Gjirokaster's narrow, cobbled streets! The host was very friendly, helpful, quick to respond to queries, and so clearly proud of the traditional Gjirokaster house, which has been in his family for over 300 years old. 1800's may not be to everyone's liking, but I loved it, and I would stay again!

We had a fantastic stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the room a good size with a new and modern en-suite. The owners were really sweet, friendly and accommodating and made us feel at home. The garden was great and so peaceful, a wonderful place to relax. We had breakfast one day and it was yummy. Another positive were the various sockets in the bedroom to charge stuff. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Argjiro Traditional. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Gjirokastër, perfect for exploring the city. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and fresh. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The location was beyond beautiful, the mountain view from the room's view was amazing. I cant tell enough on how nice the host was. He promptly sent me a whatsapp text and despite me reach late around 12:30-1 AM, the host was kind enough to wait and help us with parking as its a little steep place This place changed my entire perspective of Albania as a country. The breakfast spread was by far the best I have ever had. It was a home cooked meal from the host's own family. There were 2-3 plates full of home cooked food with fresh fruits from his own garden and a great mountain tea that he served as when my cup was emptying. The rooms are renovated and the bathrooms are well done, but only complain was water coming out in the floor. But it was only my issue as I am more inclined towards dry bathrooms and shower cabins. The location is only a few meters away from the castle and the old market area where you can just walk for 10 mins under the tunnel. Looking forward to coming here again for a longer stay.

    We booked it because it was among the few pet friendly options in Gjirokaster (even though at the end we didn’t bring the dog), it was the best choice we could have made. A spacious villa with a yard entirely for us with free parking. The center is not even 5 mins walk away. We were very happy with the service and communication with our host. Whenever we go back to Gjirokaster, we know where to go 😊
