Lovely hotel in the old town. easy to reach from the train station, either by bus or on foot. very quiet, comfortable beds, clean, espresso machine and water at your disposal. Good breakfast, great staff. Dinner was superb. we arrived on a Sunday which meant that the hotel and restaurant were closed but everything was organised for our arrival. thank you all for your kindness and helpfulness. we will surely come back.

What a brilliant place to stay. Part communal living, part casual resort, part family-style retreat, we were delighted by the subtle touches and care that staff provided in our too-brief stay. Large, spacious, comfortable room, with welcoming bed and exquisite pillows; an oversized bathroom with great shower. Lovely balcony beneath shaded trees. And the extras: we came home from a day of exploring to find our room tided, clothing we had hung over a chair rail on the balcony to dry hung neatly on a drying rack that had escaped our view; bedding neatened and sleeping attire folded and left atop the duvet. We didn't take advantage of the continental breakfast, but used the spacious, well-equipped kitchen to prepare an evening meal for a break from expensive and mediocre Swiss cuisine in the area, which was a welcome break. We also prepared our own breakfast in the morning before departure on the last day. Quiet, comfortable, extremely reasonably priced - we highly recommend a stay.

    -6 or 7 minute walk from the train station -next to two Coop (grocery store) locations and a playground -the host was very responsive to our WhatsApp messages and gave us recommendations for family appropriate outings -he also allowed us generous access to the laundry room -there is no AC (which we knew when we booked), but we really appreciated the fan which made a big difference for us

    This place is located around the forest with a very nice view. It's newly renovated with all needed accessories. There is free public parking at premises also 3 min walk you'll find bus station with good frequency.

    Very kind host gave me all instructions about keys; very large appartment with 2 separate bedrooms, completely equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher etc., suitable for family of 5. Location with parking place very handy, close to center of old town. And thanks for the complimentary coffee! And very warm despite cold weather outside!

    The location was beautiful and peaceful. I traveled for work and was comfortable with the proximity to my office as well as the use of the Wi-Fi when I was working from my room. The room was lovely and the host was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again on my future trips to Burgdorf area.
